"Drive from Chicago to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament. Googled restaurants between I-20 and I-95 and the sign is what first took my attention. Location (Art in the middle of nowhere) had me skeptical for a second, but the reviews were great and we love to try and support small local businesses when we travel. We did it right before I assumed that dinner was a hurry, because 10 minutes after we sat more and more people just walked in. The legend of Lizard Man newspaper articles were interesting to read and the rest of the rustic decoration was a little of everything! No rhyme or reason I personally love. This makes it all the more interesting to look around and wait for food. Service was fast and friendly. My hubby and children everyone really enjoyed their sandwiches, which is rare. They had a bite of the others. Between us 4 we had the Philly Cheese Steak, Buffalo Chicken, Frito Pie and Mama's Chicken Salad. Nothing nice. Simple, covered, friendly service. I have a good find from the Fam when we went back to the car."

"It's difficult to find quality fast food these days, but I happened to come across a delicious Mushroom Swiss burger at Hardee's. It was perfect! After a long journey from Myrtle Beach to Tennessee, we saw the sign for Hardee's and knew that's where we wanted to eat. The burger was so good that I couldn't finish it in one sitting. The seasoned fries were also tasty, even when cold. The employees were on top of their game and made the experience even better. Great job!"

"I placed a online order yesterday. It said pickup at 11am. My disabled bf went to pick it up. He was told they opened late and food wouldn't be ready until 1130. He ask could it just be canceled at drive thru was told no. Told him to park in the online order spot then go in to get it. He waits and struggles to get in only to be told his order WAS canceled. They watched him sit out there the whole time. Used to love this place, not after yesterday."

"Here for birthday dinner. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. We had the crab for a starter and there was a lot to share for 4 of us. It had a good taste. I'll give the crab a thumb up. My husband had served the fillet with roasted red potatoes and sugar snap peas. He said it was very good. Three of us have the seafood plate. There were 3 very small scallops and what I would call half a crab cake. The scallops were cooked well. The crab cake had a taste that is not typical of crab cakes in the area. I couldn't place it, but it took away from the taste. There were also some bruised shrimps on the plate and they were just okay. There was a huge piece of white fish over a large amount of jasmine rice. Unfortunately, the fish and rice were so salty that none of us were able to finish it. The salt taste was overlaid. Honestly, if you are a seafood food and how good seafood, this is not the place for you. There are many other farms serving fresh and better prepared seafood in the area. The seafood plate was $42. Like my father said, I never have to eat there again? Three stars because the waitress was very nice."

"I recently ate at the grove, probably my sixth or seventh time eating there in the last several years. I must say I was a little disappointed because the prices have seem to have gone through the roof. I did expect it to be a bit pricey, as it has always been, but the quality was always there this time I paid $42 for six scallops which were pretty good but not great. My partner who is a vegetarian was only provided with a pasta Primavera dish for $25 and she was quite disappointed after I had really played up, how great the grove market is she said she could get pasta Primavera anywhere and for about half the price. Would be nice if they had a vegetarian gourmet option instead of a salad and pasta. I was also a little surprised that the house salad was 12 bucks and my appetizer was 18. However, the thing I was most disappointed about was the pie that they've always serve. They're so delicious but they are cutting it into such slivers now and charging $11 per slice and it certainly isn't worth that. So, I think I've been to the grove for the last time due to the excessive cost ."

"This place was great. The burger was fantastic and the Buffalo cauliflower was the best. I will definitely stop here again. I wish I had lived closer so I could look by and eat breakfast. I bet that's great too. I cannot recommend the buffalo flowers enough"

"This is a small local place with great food. The hamburgers are always fresh, hot, very tasty. The onion rings are good, but they also have great home fries. Which are home made potato chips.
