"The service from the staff was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. The wine selection was good, although a bit expensive by the glass so it's better to opt for a bottle. The house margarita had a pre-made mix instead of real lime, so next time I'll ask for a hand-crafted one. It was $13. The pork chop was a bit dry but had a nice flavor, just required more effort to chew. Despite these small issues, I will definitely give this place another try."

"Feels like a hidden jewel! Very nice view of the brook. Delicious food! Even the cooking special soup (not shown) was delicious. We had itcargot, hubby said it was the best he had. Mussels linguine, he likes a white wine sauce note, he is a garlic lover. Said the red chorizo sauce was still delicious. I had the shrimp. Perfectly cooked, great taste, linquine on the side was delicious. When then the chocolate mousse cake came out, Hubby said holy sh*t louder than expected, it was big, but so fluffy with mousse. Not rich, only creamy. We also enjoyed the Cab Pinot Grigio."

"The carbonara was an absolute tragedy. Words alone cannot explain how tasteless it was, not to mention it came with a practically non existent portion of guanciale. My wife's seafood shrimp pasta was comparable, very little flavor. Neither of us finished our meals. Our server Valerie was great and provided us with great service, but the food alone warrants a one star review. For a $122 bill, we were severely disappointed. I really hope Chef Keith was out sick and this was an isolated incident."

"We went in on a Monday night and it was nice and slow and didn 't expect any issues. It was about 25 minutes and still nothing. When we asked they sent the women in charge over. She blamed the new cashier and also blamed the person who was supposed to be training him. Still no food. Then she blamed the computer system and said the ticket was generated twice. OK then we should have double food not no food. Then she blamed the kitchen as there was a new employee in there. Still no food. Food finally comes out and it was wrong. She said she would take 1 of the burgers off the tab as it was done incorrectly. Conveniently she said she couldn 't do it, but her manager would. No credit every came. If y 'all are going to charge $71 for #4 burgers and a side salad you should have the service to match. Not hard to find burgers in town and no we won 't be going to the burger place you own across the street."

"The environment was great. Loved the style, the ambience, and the cleanliness. The food on the other hand was poor. Starting out we ordered the calamari appetizer only to find out shortly after starting to eat it that it contained shellfish which my wife is very allergic to. I felt awful having ordered the dish which I assumed I had not been carful enough to readnegativeNOWHERE did they say the dish contained shellfish. The waitress confirmed the inclusion of shrimp in the dish and apologized for the lack of transparency. For entrees we got the salmon and Rachel sandwiches. Both were made with toasted bread that made the sandwich painful to eat with the toast scraping the roof of your mouth. The Rachel had mostly fat chunks for “brisket. Needless to say the entrees were horrible. For dessert we got the bittersweet chocolate cake and the crème brûlée. The cake was overly rich and undercooked while the crème brûlée was tasty but overcooked. Other than not offering to comp us for the calamari incident the service was average at best. "It is a crazy small world. We figured out that Martin our excellent waiter served us back in 2021 when he worked at La Fogata in San Antonio. We love visiting Boerne and found this place via YELP. Great atmosphere. Great food. Their salsa is fresh and incredibly tasty. My wife had a cheese enchilada and crispy beef taco. She swears we would eat here weekly if we lived here. I had the Tres Comrades 3 wonderful enchiladas with unique flavors. (I'm typically not a mole fan, but it was rich and deep with intense chocolate flavor. The shrimp enchilada was my favorite and the sauce was outstanding!! There are several interesting entrees to choose from. They have an excellent chef making very tasty sauces. Well worth your time and money to stop here."

"My first impressions of this restaurant after walking in weren't great. I was eating alone and there were plenty of open 2 top tables available but I still had to wait a while to get seated. Looking over the menu, everything seemed to be listed at a premium price. I contemplated leaving, but before I could, my server arrived and took my drink order. I resigned to stay and decided to order the biscuits and gravy. Y'all, they need to serve it with more gravy because that was the best gravy I've had since I left Mama's house. The biscuits were tall and fluffy with a nice crunchy top and a fluffy center. I'm hooked. The service, while slow, was great and my server was very pleasant. It's started out rough but it ended great."

"Nice location and atmosphere...very kid friendly also. The pizza is similar to most places in Texas....someone takes a trip to Italy and they think they are an expert pizza maker. So they open a pizza place and make something that resembles an Italian pizza. Pizza looks good and might smell OK but the quality just is not there at all. Not trying to trash this restaurant but just want to inform the public about 2-3 experiences that I have had. Great marketing/bad food has become a real issue these days unfortunately. I have noticed a pattern of restaurants in Boerne starting out well with great food and then going downhill. I don't know if this is due to cutting costs or losing a good cook. I have a hunch it is cutting costs. Z's has a great pizza oven and I think is located in one of the best places around Boerne. I don't remember what else is on the menu besides pizza so there might be some really good dishes. Like I said I am not trying to deter people from going to Z's I myself might even go there again as I really like the location but just be aware that there are better pizzas out there."

"Beautiful casual indoor/outdoor bar/restaurant with a lively atmosphere! Craft beer is brewed on site and the selection is wonderful. We definitely recommend the white in blackberry and blueberry when it is available! We also have ribeye beef and shrimp nachos and all loved them. The cattle-denderloin medallions come with mixed vegetables on a bed of rice and everything was seasoned and perfectly cooked. This dish contains a page of “chimi sauce”, from which we could not get enough! Outside is covered and there was live music when we stopped. We live about an hour away, but we'll do more time to hang here! Can't wait to go back!"

"Was touring around hill country and seeing local caves. Needed lunch before headed to Austin. Longhorn was sufficient. Neat little local joint with many favorites on tap to include beers. Must have had a new CSR, took down my order incorrectly, really wanted to have a double cheeseburger with bacon on sourdough. I got a single patty, no bacon and no sourdough. I’d say it was still pretty good though. Also shared a chicken fried chicken. Not sure what they marinate it with, but that was delicious. I may come back another time and try the bacon double. If you’re in the area, come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains."

"This review is for Sauced take out. We often eat in here, either at the bar or on the patio. Appreciate that they were open throughout 2020 and 2021 when things got difficult. We know hiring people is challenging, especially for small businesses. We have attempted to always be patient if things took a little longer and understand price increases due to supply chain issues and increasing food costs.Today was our first time using them for takeout, we live about 20 min away and food it better warm. But today we needed to stop in and order something to take home after a really hard day. There is absolutely nothing worse than ordering what you want, paying good hard earned money for your dinner, taking it home -20 min drive and opening up the box to discover that your order is wrong. No way I'm driving 20 min back there to have them fix it and then 20 min back home again... a 40 min extra round trip w high gas prices because the person taking the order doesn't pay attention. Not the kitchens fault, in reviewing the receipt in the bag the order was not entered correctly by the person taking the order at the counter. Disappointing. Supporting small businesses in Boerne is important to me. However, I should get what I am paying for. I hope that our next experience here is better. Lesson learned that we will not use their take out again. Tonight's dinner was not good at all."

"First review after the change from Mi Casa. I like the expanded menu, but the food is still just okay. I'll keep coming here for the outdoor space and overall environment. Mostly disappointed by the change in the bar. The excellent margaritas are gone; current version is heavy on the sour mix and not great. We tried some other drinks and still not impressed even my easy go to drink, vodka/soda/lime, was not good. Hoping it's a learning curve and the new bartenders will figure it out. Still a good selection of draft beer, and TVs playing football. I've been a supporter of this place for years so I'll certainly be giving it another try."

Great little town, we went on Good Friday so a lot of things were closed, thatmade for light crowds, we did go watch some live music down the street that was amazing but the drink prices were ridiculous atthat place. So we'll go back to Borne when things are open again someday... also there's a membership you can buy, that's on thethird level and I guess they have a different menu for better drinks Exedra Exedra I did noticed a lot of pretty people going upthe elevator to the third floor so if you live there it's $1,000 a year for the membership. Nothing like secret clubs"

"We had the most amazing time! The minute you walk in you are greeted by many with a friendly smile. You are taken to your table and in our case on this Friday night, our table was on the patio. What a beautiful evening to have been outdoors too. We are told to scan the bar code in order to view the menu. We ordered sangria and we must say the sangria is the best we have ever had! Our server was courteous, polite, friendly and attentive! The food was superb! We had the watermelon salad, ribs, langoustine, and the mouth watering cheesecake for dessert! The cheesecake is fluffy and is made to perfection as it melts in your mouth. If you are blessed to be there when the owner is there and you meet him you will find a very courteous gentleman that speaks to you about his family history and the foods he prepares. We look forward to going back soon!"
