"Tried the new location, recently, based off of numerous recommendations. Luling is desperate for a restaurant that offers home cooking. They post hot plates on Facebook but they aren't available at night. Hamburgers and sandwiches aren't going to cut it at night. Whatever their lunch specials are, should be available at night. My husband was looking for a real dinner, not just a wrap or burger. We didn't want to just leave so we stayed. We arrived at 7 and was advised that the kitchen closed at 8:15. We were rushed from start to finish by our server. He brought us boxes to pack up our food within 20 minutes of getting our plates and brought us our check! We were still eating! Hot plate specials need to be available for dinner, not just lunch, and a permanent menu needs to be readily available and easily accessible on their FB page. Hopefully they'll be able to provide Luling with a great dinner location in the future."
