"First, let me state I love a good meatball. That being said my experience at Grind was very good all around. The service was good, atmosphere was somewhat rustic and yhe decor was all matching. The star of this show was the meatballs for which I have heard much love for and they did not disappoint. I had Italian wedding soup, which was very easy to eat along with a couple of soft rolls and butter. The Ceasars salad is presented with flourish and tastes as good as it looks. The main attraction was meatballs with a slightly spicy red sauce over polenta that was delicious. The meatballs (I choose beef for my first outing there) were cooked well and juicy. Polenta was smooth and the sauce had a bit of spice to it but not overly so. The concept is to choose your meatball protein (chicken, beef or seafood), what 's going under it (from roll to polenta, pasta, macaroni and cheese and more), then a sauce which red tomatoes, or mushrooms and more. I choice the bowel which provided large meatballs and a satisfactory amount of polenta. I was able to try the Mac and cheese with bacon and mushroom and was equally as good and hearty. The drinks are well made and not watered down! I had a long Island ice tea and was very good. The food is delicious, the service was great and friendly (but not too much) as well as prompt but too fast. There are plenty of kid friendly dishes on the menu and despite there being a prominent full service bar in the back of the room I would recommend to families. Prices are fair portions are filling. Recommended and I will be back to try more of the plates I saw! Please note parking is off street and I can see that a small walk may happen, but it 's well worth it."
