"The restaurant service was extremely slow, taking 2 hours to serve our food. It seemed like they had forgotten our order. Additionally, when it came time to pay, they overcharged us by 17,000 HUF. Despite receiving cash back as a refund, we were disappointed and just wanted to pay the correct amount. To make matters worse, they continued to ask for more money after we had already paid more than the bill. Eventually, they realized their mistake and apologized, perhaps they should consider taking some basic math lessons."

"I am a client of this restaurant since 3 years. I always came with my working colleagues. Always we got very good quality of the food. This time I joined with my family (private) an we ordered Argentinian beef steak- we received in exchange a low quality steak- that was either a Hungarian beef stake or something else, but no way Argentinian beef steak. Before getting the order we were asked what nationality we are, and this might have influenced the “selection” of the meat . I am disappointed as I paid so much money for a low quality steak! I will not recommend anymore your restaurant to my customers and the company I am working with. You just lost many customers due to this"

"Had the worst service at Kollazs yesterday night (July 23, 2023). Our server forgot one of the drinks ordered, which he apologized for after we asked about it. He then gave our friend a complimentary red wine instead. Additionally, no server came up to us for the whole 2 hours we were there to ask if we needed more water. I ordered mussels, and I was not given a bowl for the shells. When the server noticed I was putting the shells on the bread plates, he then took the plate with my mussel fork. On top of that, it took so long to get our food orders even though the place was not packed. When we asked for the bill, that also took long to arrive. We were really disappointed after a wonderful experience at Cafe Liszt and the Sky Bar in the Aria Hotel. We just expected the same at another 5-star restaurant since the 14% service charge is included in the bill."

"The food at this restaurant was fantastic and the service was amazing. The only downside was that we wanted to sit outside for a drink, but were told that the empty tables were reserved. However, no one sat at them for 40 minutes. It would have been great if they had told us we could sit there for 30 minutes before needing the seats. Overall, this was the only negative aspect of our experience."

"The restaurant hoppa Bistro is located in an easy to reach place. From outside looks really nice, but when you go inside, you are greeted with an amazing host. They hang your coats right at the entrance for an easy sitting. When you sit at your table, you will be greeted by your waiter for the night. Our waiter was Sándor, a really nice and happy personal. To start of we ordered a kraken martini and the homemade hazy queen, two delicious drinks. For starters, we ordered soup, one beef, and one onion soup, both of which came with a nice presentation by two waiters. The soups were packed with flavor for more than affordable prices. For main course i went for the deep fried pork chop served with lightly pickled cucumber and mashed potatoes, the meal was amazing, the pork chop was tender and not dry at all, the mashed potatoes were smooth and tasty and to finish it all the pickled cucumber added the last needed taste. My partner ordered the chef's pick for the week of a truffle linguini, the meal came with a far from disappointing amount, a good full plate of freshly made linguini, cheese crisps and an amazing poached egg. To finish it all off, we ordered the chef's pick of a sponge cake with white chocolate, pistachios, and am pomegranate sauce. Would recommend booking a table next time you visit Budapest, you won't be disappointed. Vegetarian options: There were a lot of meals to choose from as well as vegetarian once."

"oh dear men. Please go into this little business if you like to eat vegans, not necessarily looking for new modern “superfood” and if you have really hungry! I had a kind of wrap made of self-made pancakes, filled with sweet and well seasoned feischerset. it was really delicious. after that something is hot. oh who grew up in the east is catapulted back into his own kindness. I would give twice as many stars."

"The place is really pretty and unique, but the vegan options were quite limited and just basic middle-eastern food. Musrooms seemed canned mushrooms with some oil and herbs, pepper ”salad” seemed like supermarket jar food and it was unclear if the salads came with pita or not and the waiter seemed annoyed when we asked about this afterwards. We really wanted to like the place but the food was average. Nice to visit once but there are better places for vegans kn Budapest."

Also, it was pouring and I asked him to wait a few minutes before calling a cab so we wouldn't get drenched, but he totally ignored my request.. "Although the food is delicious, trying to get a table or even takeaway from Kozmosz is a nightmare. The first night we tried, we arrived at the restaurant at 7pm and despite seeing lots of empty tables, they turned us away and said they had no space. We went back outside and saw the sign that they have takeaway available so we asked if we could get some food to go instead. Again, turned away without any explanation. The next day we had made successfully made a booking for 6pm and spent the next 2 hours seeing people throughout the night going through the same thing as we had the night before. It seems as though the restaurant is understaffed and badly managed. If you do manage to get a table though, the food is absolutely delicious. We tried the Túrós Csusza (pasta with cottage cheese) and the Pörkölt with Nokedli (stew with gnocchi) both were very tasty. I have never seen any other vegan restaurants offering vegan túrós csusza so I was very impressed. We tried their pickled cucumber with the pörkölt and it was ok, but it didn’t seem homemade. The desserts were incredible, we had the krémes (layered cream cake) and the rakott palacsinta (layered pancakes). Going before 6pm is definitely recommended, by 7pm they had ran out of most main dishes"
