"First, no trace and name change to J and J's Sandbar. After all, it was a Sunday lunch buffet. Cold things served cold. You understand how a steam table works! The hot food was hot. Beautiful salad bar, the salad with all fixations, also had a good cheese dip, pasta salad, pea salad, carrot salad together with Coleslaw, cottage cheese and other things. I had fried chicken in MO, that should be world famous, but I found hard, dry and tasteless. When I tried the chicken, I thought the MO people should come to J and J's to learn how to tender, damp chicken that is well seasoned for good taste. I thought nobody could ruin the ham, but I learned I was wrong. The ham here is made right and has good taste. There were also breakfast items. The thick cut bacon was well cooked, but not brittle. Apparently they use a high-quality bacon as many places. I didn't like the sausages especially, but I cooked well again. I'm just restless when it comes to sausage. There were potatoes and gravy as well as cookies and sausage swords. Probably something I forget. Further to dessert, which includes soft serving, there were at least two different cakes and cinnamon rolls. The rolls were light and the freezing was excellent. Yeah, I'm a fan of cinnamon rolls. And they have soda in cans and wells. All for $10. If you're close, stop. If you keep going, you're worth the drive."
