"We are so glad that we finally made that was food amazing, my wife had the chicken pot pipe that was mouthwater, I should say that it was one of the best I had, I had the club sandwich that is really good to... can not wait to try the beef stew, meat loaf and burgers."

"Small little spot nestled in between some big trees, behind Castroville cafe and beside a sweet little coffee shop. The service was the best, and for a small town, definitely expected! Blah! I hate when service isn't at least friendly. Anyway, the food was so good!!! Started with fried pickles which are fresh, thinly battered and yummy!!! The pizza though y'all! It was so, so good. The crust was thin and crispy but chewy. The sauce was tasty bu not over powering. Covered in yummy, fresh and delicious mozzarella, perfect pepperoni on Italian sausage. For the pizza alone, I'd be back for sure. Inside is a very small restaurant. Outside is a nice sized patio and maybe on a nice day would be great. Read some reviews on here that they had live music, but when I asked about it, they said they hadn't done live music in a while...??? The coffee shop next door! Go there too! Super cute too! Love me some Castroville, down home locals."

"Horrible weekend with tourist restaurant food in wharf area. Had to come back to comfort food for flavor.Chose this place and glad we did. Friendly staff and clean restroom for the germaphobes. Quick order and food.Pozole was delicious as well as the salsa.Chicken verde enchilada was good as well. Refried beans also great alone or with chips.All around good food. Would recommend if need some flavorful Mexican food after a trip to Monterey Bay where food is overpriced and bland. Expensive does not equal good. This place is good."

"Ordered 3 toasted subways through doordash. Not a single one was toasted. I contacted the store to find out why my order wasn 't made the way I ordered it. Was given a bunch of childish excuses by the 2 girls who I spoke to. When I asked to speak to a manager they said it didn 't matter because the manager is going to tell you the same thing . I got upset and told them that it was stupid that they decide to just send someone whatever they feel like if they can 't do the order the way it was ordered. I told them that my phone number was in the order and that they should have called and I would have simply cancelled the order. Again was given a very childish excuse of how one time they called a number and no one answered so they simply don 't call because people don 't answer their phones anyways . This type of service is ridiculous and unacceptable. Subway is getting worse every year!! They put COLD bacon in the sandwiches!!!! WTF!!!! I 'm going to contact the health department. These people are trying to get customers sick!!"

"so disappointing. we ordered a few pommes and what we got was a series of the pommes that was barely filled and cold. I hope it wasn't a return to what someone stopped eating. as embarrassing that they actually put this food item in a bag and think to serve it that this is great customer satisfaction. very unhappy."

"Yum Yum Yum!. Visited Castroville on my bicycle (a 40-mile one-way trip . Cora's 471 Grill was recommended to us and we soon learned that all the talk about their nachos was not talk at all. Their nachos are scrumptious! We got the Super Nachos which made for a robust appetizer. I also ordered two enchiladas and was once again impressed by the flavor (they may not be the prettiest enchiladas around but they pack a ton of great flavor! . We'll be back for more..."

Penny and her team were extremely welcoming friendly and very helpful at accommodating our needs for our small and last minute wedding, all around great service clean facilities. "Great food, large portions, clean bathrooms, casual beach setting but table service (not counter service) We ordered the half rotisserie chicken and steak sandwich. The steak was a whole NY strip cooked to order (medium rare). The rotisserie chicken was lightly seasoned and cooked well (but perhaps on the slightly dry side). Served with homemade salsa or BBQ sauce. The scalloped potatoes were home made as well, soft all the way through and fantastic!"

We enjoyed it in its old location and found this new place more open and accommodating.Two of us enjoyed wedge salads one with chicken soup, one with grilled shrimp, one a brisket sandwich and the fourth a hamburger. "PHIL’s FISH MARKET is FUNKY. We had heard about this seafood restaurant between Santa Cruz and Monterey – so we decided to spread it. It's in Moss Landing (can't miss that the city has two big "energy" towers – that would probably never be in the 21st. century so close to the Pacific. We stopped an afternoon to see what the whole hoopla was about. And we had a great old time – our menu consisted of some basics like Steamed Mussels (many of them, New England and Manhattan Clan Chowder and some frits. The joint was funky – easy, friendly, loud, clean and efficient in an unconventional way. Birds fly around, children laugh and walk around and everyone enjoys themselves. It is very easy to get, simple parking, short lines (but we have there shortly before Noon and fast – but not fast food. On our rating scale from “A” to “F”, the Phil’s Fish Market will receive a “B” (probably a “A” should receive. We would definitely return with a group of hungry friends."

"We were served extremely quickly, and our food arrived promptly and accurately! I had honestly given up on the Whataburgers near my home due to poor service, but we decided to stop by because we were hungry. I'm so glad we did! Mr. Payami was kind and friendly, even going out of his way to help us with ice when Walmart and the nearby gas stations were all out. This was the best Whataburger I’ve been to so far, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who’s hungry! Keep in mind that people usually only leave reviews when they’re unhappy, so we often forget to share our positive experiences. "I'm just leaving this review for my delivery driver. I have never experienced such a pleasant experience with a delivery driver. My delivery driver was an older Hispanic gentleman, I didn't catch his name. I saw him coming out of his car to bring my pizza to the door, I opened my door and said "Hello Sir" and he so happy answers "HEY!! He was so happy to be here on Friday night. He deserves a raise! God bless him!"
