"It can be small, but the food and service is excellent. You have a good selection of Burritos, Tacos, Quesadillas and more. Everything comes with a bag of chips. They're very fast. It is on the outskirts of the campus, so it is easy from the campus and downtown Champaign. The parking lot is limited and can be difficult as it is at the corner of two busy streets."

"My friend and I visited McAlister's Deli, Champaign location to celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. The staff and manager checked on us frequently offering us refills and a to-go container. The manager noticed it was her birthday and even offered her a birthday dessert. This was very kind. We enjoyed two different sandwiches and two different sides. Both of us enjoyed the experience and will return. Thank you."

"Oh my word! The Nutella and banana, the chocolate explosion, and blueberry cheesecake crepes were all delicious. The chocolate and blueberry both had ice cream scoops, too. Service was a little slow, but considering there was only one employee, she did a great job, so really no complaints, and it was worth the wait for great crepes. Just don't plan on being in and out quickly. The atmosphere was very calm and relaxing, and seating was comfortable. A good place for a hot or cold beverage (non-alcoholic) and working on a laptop or just reading a book."

"This restaurant truly deserves all five stars. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Fajita Salad and it was a large portion of flavorful ingredients. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the chicken was tender, and the rice was mixed with an amazing cheese sauce. And to top it off, my generous salad was under $10! Incredible food for an incredible price. The service was outstanding as well. We arrived just before 3PM, when the lunch specials end. Our waiter kindly allowed us to still order from the lunch menu, which we greatly appreciated. We were also treated to complimentary chips and salsa (2 types) right away. The waiter not only refilled our drinks, but also brought more salsa without us having to ask. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant where they refill the salsa before. I definitely want to return to this restaurant. Highly recommended!"

"The waitress was competent, but very rude at the end. My friend from Russia left a tip, even though they do not usually tip in his country. However, it seemed like he did not leave enough because she commented in front of everyone that maybe if he had tipped better. This behavior was rude and unacceptable. Despite having spent a lot of money at this restaurant and bringing many people, we will not be returning. We will be going to Outback or Red Lobster instead, where the waitress might be better suited if she is looking for higher tips. Perhaps she should also check her attitude and be less unhappy, as well as stop throwing plates around in the kitchen. Our clients deserve better service elsewhere."

"Miga is one of the most luxurious restaurants in the Urbana Champaign I've ever been to! The interior has recently been remodeled and it’s soo beautiful. I’ve always liked the contemporary atmosphere and, most importantly, the quality of the food is AMAZING without a doubt. I had sushi and sashimi combination with Katsu and both have been my favorites since years ago! Some may think the price can be a bit costly, but seriously, the quality of the food justifies everything!"

"Disappointing food- one star or less. Came at 11:30 for lunch and a coffee. Turkey and Brie hot sandwich was on barely toasted bread and lukewarm rather than hot…was essentially put in the toaster oven that wasn’t warmed up so it didn’t even warm the turkey. The turkey is lunch meat. Says it comes with side- but that means a meager slice of orange and two baby carrots.Coffee was fine (3 star maybe and the vibe is coffee shop. My advice to owner- if you aren’t staffed to provide food…then stop offering it and stick with coffee."

"The brisket here is amazing. They hooked me the first night I tried it. It had that crispy, blackened top with that perfect smokey flavor. And the meat pretty much melts in your mouth because it's so tender! The cornbread s equally as good too. I'm not a fan of sweet cornbread but this one has just the right mix of sweet and regular imo. It hits just right! I love the variety of sauces also. You gotta try em all! :"

"Do not often go to Oberweis, but if I do, the service and ice cream are always great! We lost our receipt, so you no longer have the survey code, but wanted to leave a review of our experience tonight and how great it was. Hasn't got his name, but the person who served us was super nice and personal. I think he was a manager and after giving me my shake, I thought I should make sure and ask if there are any nuts in the wafer neck he said there would be. I know I should have told him before that I had a nut allergy, so I felt super bad not to drink it, but without hesitation he said he would do another for me. The staff looked like they worked well and it was another good visit for me!"

"We absolutely loved this place. It was our first time there last weekend. We had to wait about 15 minutes and there were also some other groups. Crab cake, with aloli and salad, were delicious. My husband loved the fried chicken salad. The best part is that prices are not bad at all, especially for such a beautiful place as these. The waitress was super attentive. It was just a parking lot. We found a parking lot, a few blocks away. 5 stars"

Ordered almond bubble tea without bubbles but they still charged us for bubbles. Also ordered a smoothie and they charged us for bubbles in the smoothie loool. So yeah def check your receipt when u order from here cause they probably will overcharge you."

"Staff is very friendly. Restaurant doesn’t take reservations but you can join a waitlist. They do have a waiting area next door. "This is one of my favorite places in Champaign. Great food and bubble tea, but pricy. Their food quality is great. We ordered a customized sushi burrito and sushi roll, and both were awesome. Our favorite thing was the crispy tofu. The drinks were also good, but even with the 30% sugar they were very sweet (some of the drinks have pre-added sugar so keep that in mind). As for the price, for the 2 drinks and 3 food items it was $50. Even though it is a little expensive for a college town spot, I’ll still come here weekly because it’s delicious."

"Okay, so I’ve been driving around and living near this restaurant for a while. Today, I had a taste for some good ole fashioned soul food, like grandma use to make back in South Carolina! 1) They put no meat in the greens or cabbage…it tastes better. 2) The rib plate……with potato salad…..FIRED MY GRANDMOTHER FROM COOKING! 3) The love and interpersonal feeling you get when you walk in the door. I felt like I’d known the family since since I was a child. They’re amazing people with lots of love that they share with all patrons through their conversations, interactions and food! Best restaurant I’ve eaten from in the entire Midwest! Best people I’ve met here as well. That says a lot beings I was brought up in Southern Hospitality. They’ve got the sauce…..no smoke! Wish I could give 10 stars."

"My husband and I recently tried this restaurant. We were greeted and given an explanation of how everything works. You get your menus and an order pad, so it is nice to sit and take your time to find out what you want to order without the pressure of a server, and write it yourself. If you are ready to place the order, go to the counter, check the person there and pay accordingly. On this trip we ordered a platelet of Lo mein with shrimps, cattle and chickens, soup dumplings and Bbq pigs. I wasn't really selling on the cocks, but everything else was incredible. On our table hot and fresh (and very fast! the large part of lo my was probably enough to serve 6-8 people, and the soup dumplings were absolutely to die. The price is high, but I think it is definitely worth it. The menu is huge, so there is really something for everyone. The dining room is clean, well maintained and not overwhelming. The tables are much large and spaced apart, they have lazy Susans on the larger tables to open the food, so that is quite convenient if you order a lot, or if you share in a large group. There are free hot tea that was a really nice supplement. You literally have everything you could need in the type of cutlery, hopsticks, tea pots.... the list goes on. I thought the experience was great and we'll return. Customer service was absolutely fantastic and the food it was worth!"
