"I and my love came here for a little date afternoon. It is in the top of the city dade city, the service we received was amazing, very patient and the server did not forget my extras: , the pizza was freshly cooked, we both ordered lunch specialties, about $7, I got the two pieces pizza both big NY slices, pumices and drinking, he got the fried pizza, pumices and drink that the fried pizza was inside! "This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE IN DADE CITY!!!! I was there several times and got pizza several times (which is AMAZING). I brought friends and family and they all agree that it is fantastic!!!! The only problem is that they don't have well drinks, but the food and the service make sure. If you like NY-style pizza this is the best in the area by far!!! It does not see how much on the outside and the interior is small, but what comes from this kitchen is amazing!!! I hope they whisper well and open more locations. Salute!"

"We wanted to try Steph’s during the Kumquat Festival. While they were very busy, we didn't feel rushed, but were treated with a kind greeting and had several staff at the table to make sure everything was good. We had both fried chicken, potatoes and chicken dumplings. Everything was just fantastic. There are several other ducks that looked good, including ribs, meat leaflets, pork and fish. Can't wait to go back and try one of them. We were just too full to have desert. Next time we will park in the restaurant so we can reach the desert. Your saying: “It’s what it is” is quite right. It is only great southern style cooking and hospitality."

"My favorite thing to do is find a new little town to explore. While exploring, this cafe was referred to me. The building is beautiful and historic. The interior is full of beautiful and quirky decor lots of taxidermy which I love. I came in right at 3pm which was the end of their brunch service and apparently it had been a busy day so far. So I’m guessing the kitchen staff just stopped caring. I ordered the she crab soup which was warm but flavorless. Unless flour is a flavoring. Not much crab. I also ordered the meatballs on ricotta, the appetizer. Meatballs were lukewarm and a bit pink inside. The cheese was room temperature/cold. The limoncello cake was delicious. I ate the soup and took the meatballs home. They were good when actually hot. This would be a cool place to spend a meal with friends. Probably fine either with others or during actual meal times when the kitchen is actively working. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30"

"The story of Smitty 's was that the original owners, Mr. Smith and his wife, wanted to retire, and they sold to this couple who were mismanaging the place. People that were working for the original owner took it back over and it seems like its old self. I mostly get vegetable plates. I love their fried okra, french fries and mac 'N cheese."

"It was my first time to eat here and I enjoyed it. Hot, fresh and tasted good. I had the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and a egg roll. They serve you through a hole in the door that has a folding door on each side. It's the third building in the Publix shopping mall, behind Burger King. I'll try another dish soon. Thank you. UK"

"I had lunch here the other day. The employees there were friendly. This burger I posted a picture of is amazing. All American, plus bacon, minus tomato. The fries were cooked perfectly. I was full so I took them home and my boyfriend enjoyed them cold. We also had fish bites, I'm not normally one for fish but they were amazing. I enjoyed everything. Wish I lived closer so I could justify coming again soon."

"Came in around 7:30 this morning when I walked in there was no one in the front but a customer waiting to place his order. He knocked on the counter to get someone’s attention. When the employee came out she was still looking at her phone. I purchased a dozen donuts to go. I noticed my grandsons took a bite each from the chocolate ones and didn’t want them. So I tasted one and the chocolate tasted burnt or scorched. Also another customer walked in behind me and asked about an apple fritter and they were so dark they looked like chocolate and the man declined and walked out empty handed ? then the employee says oh you talked him out of it. I was like no I just agreed with him that they looked really dark. Wish I had taken a picture of the fritters. On a plus side the dining area looks really nice with the changes that have been made."

"Yes, new name (Green Door on 8th) and new ownership. This place sets the bar for restaurants in the area. Staff supper friendly and food is top notch. I had a fillet (medium rare) which was cooked to perfection and my business partner had the shrimp and grits which she said was very good. The waiter said they were out of bread pudding but guess he worked some magic because he got us and table next to our a fresh batch right out of the oven. After the temperature was reduced down from nuclear...lol....that was some amazing stuff."

"I wanted to come here a while after having one of their gyros during the Kumquat Festival. We tried to get out of the house as soon as possible, but only 30 minutes before closing there. Even when we came late, we were welcomed nicely and our server was patient and didn't rush us a bit. The food was excellent! My daughter and I enjoyed a beautiful father-daughter night with great food and a beautiful atmosphere. At about 15 minutes to close another gentleman came with his very young daughter and ordered. Again we saw the waiting staff very patient and no one rushed. I can't wait to try everything on the menu!"
