"I got a pepper turkey hoagie with mayo lettuce onions sweet peppers hot seeds and oil. They did not put my hot seeds. My turkey was not pepper as well as there was no where near enough meat to match the amount of toppings they put. Also the way the hoagie was layered makes it impossible for a good bite. You either get a mouth full of cheeses little meat (because there wasn’t enough) and bread or a mouthful of toppings no meat and bread. I had to open it up and adjust the way it was layered. It tasted okay not really worth that much money but it had potential. The presentation definitely overpowers the flavor. But I also ordered for pickup so maybe it’ll be better if I order face to face and can speak up if something isn’t right ir to my liking. I do not like gourmet turkey and that’s what was put on my hoagie as I said I ordered a pepper turkey hoagie."

"The pulled pork and chicken in the 2 Meat Platter were moist, and the platter came with the cornbread. I kind of thought there would be more going on, like a small bit of another side (mac and cheese or something given the price. The Slider Trio was great, enjoyed the amount and quality of chips that came with it, although some were under-done. Personally wouldnt get the sausage slider again bc texturally, it was tough to bite through the sausage casing through the bun, and I missed that sausage snap. All the meats (pulled pork, chicken, and sausage were very tasty! Buns were also really good, nice sweet balance to the bbq. Might not be able to tell the difference between the keto and spicy bbq in a blind taste test (so spicy could go spicier! , but still enjoyed them both. Not too salty."

"THE Brown Sugar Milk Tea 10/10 very sweet and cozy. If youre thinking of ordering from this place, DO IT. Nutella, blueberry, glaze donut rings are top tier. The #8. Potato Whole Mozzarella and the #7. Original Whole Mozzarella ARE SO FING GOOD. Id recommend putting ketchup AND SPICY MAYO on the dogs. Their spicy mayo is absolutely correct."

"Platter Special (Rice, 1 Meat, 1 Salad) ONE SERVING Pastelillos/ turn overs The chicken breast chunks were dry and really tough. I couldnt eat or enjoy it and there was barely any "gravy" in my platter. BUT I give them 4 stars because the pastelillos and arroz con gandules( rice and Pigeon peas) were very flavorful and juicy ! They remind me of the ones I ate as a child. I wish there was more meat in the pastelillos but they are still really good. I will definitely be ordering rice and pastelillos again!"

"Loved the ambiance... the decor was very inviting made you feel submerged in a nautical escape. However, the AUCE is sub-par. The food was not cooked with season as the spices were added to the bag once done, which left for very blan seafood. The service was okay, but you had to get the attention of the wait staff in order to ask for refills. I thought that was disappointing as we had a group of 14 maybe a dedicated server should have been assigned as we made a reservation in advance. The 90 minutes is strict... so I suggest you start a timer on your watch to make certain you are cognitive of allotted time frame."

"This little shop is very cute and always has good service. I generally get their apple pies and try to grab a cherry pie or lemon blueberry pie when they have them! "One of the best fine dining experiences Philly has to offer! Reservations are incredibly hard to get as the place seats under 30, and only has two seatings a night. I recommend trying to go for a weekday, as even when I waited on the spot for the release dates, I could not snag a weekend or a Friday. I got lucky, and was able to book this for my husband’s birthday on a Tuesday. This is a great place for special occasions! The setting is intimate, and you get to watch the chef cook. They also explain every dish as it comes out, and where the food is from. The atmosphere is eclectic with mismatching chairs, antique silverware, and vintage china plates. It gives it a whimsical, and magical vibe. The servers are so attentive and kind. They also are highly knowledgeable about the food. The food was incredible! They change the menu every two weeks, and it is served in courses. While they asked if we have any allergies, this does not seem like the spot for picky eaters as the menu is set. The best dish we had was the tomato salad. The tomatoes were fresh, and peeled. I still think about how amazing that salad is over a month later. The only dish I was not a fan of were the clams that were an add on. They did not taste that fresh. They weren’t bad, but compared to the rest of the meal, they did not stack up. Overall, I cannot wait to have another special occasion to come back. This was such a great meal!"

Put it from their perspective they are making slightly over minimum wage and, are struggling to contribute to themselves and their family. They bring out good and tasty food. I’ve never received something bad from this checkers and, I’ve been here 50+ times ranging from 2016-2022 They are doing their best people please understand this."

Sinewy and dry meat. Rolls also seemed stale. Plain and flavorless. No butter or anything to soften them. Mozz sticks were barely acceptable but nothing special. And a generic marinara sauce packet, not made in restaurant. Would not recommend."

"My husband was looking for authentic Chinese food, and felt this place was as close as he could get. The food was amazing! We had lamb, eggplant, shrimp, and pork belly. The pork belly and shrimp were my favorite. My husband loved the lamb. This will definitely be a place in our going out rotation!"
