"I would recommend this place the next time you are in Detroit Lakes. Good quality food. Beautiful restaurants and lake views. Great service. Love the atmosphere. It's a bit expensive than other places, but it's worth it. The most expensive Hamilton Steak. Others tempt others and what you eat in a higher end. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. My husband and I went to our anniversary this year for dinner. They have a wide range of drinks (both alcohol and native drinks). I had the strawberry limonade refreshment. Was delicious). I had the Hamilton Steak and my husband had the new York stripe I believe. Both mouthwaters. They also had a good selection of foods. The dessert was also very good, although he just looked. The taste was very rich and moist. Better than I guess. Try Fireside... They won't be disappointed."

"Stumbled on the “Chickadee Cafe” inside Roasted Pub this morning. It’s a great place to enjoy a good-quality cup of coffee and get some work done as they offer free Wi-Fi. Even then the lady working the window had mask, gloves, plus a long clear plastic tray to pass cash or cards. Although depending on time it could be a slight wait. "The atmosphere is really nice and would be a good place to bring the family out for a night. The Carnitas dinner was good if not like a traditional Mexican dish. But this is Minnesota, and I know most of their customers probably don't like spices. I couldn't say if they were short, or if the place was so busy. When the staff checked for me, they were very polite and controversial, but it was difficult to get their attention first. At the time I went (about dinner time) I noticed a waiting line to sit so that it tells me that it's a local favorite when it's already a waiting time on Thursday."

"great fish tacos and steak burritos! the tot meal they cooked for us was served to 3 adults. the food was filling and ready to eat in no time. i asked the youngster what was good and he recommended something that was! the only reason I gave a 3 star on atmosphere was because there was no baby changing station in the mens restroom. the place was very clean and the restroom for the men was very very clean compared to most. i will be stopping there whenever i pass through!"

"My husband and I drove from Brainerd to Detroit Lake around 100 miles, one way) Solely to eat at the Chinese Dragon! We've eaten there before...and it was as good as we remembered. Brainerd has several Asian restaurants, but none of them come even close to The Chinese Dragon...we are very much looking forward to our next trip there! I had the amazing soup, that comes with the meal!! And I had the Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice, and Chicken Chow Mein, and we shared an order of Egg Rolls. I'll be ordering the exact same thing next time too!"

"it was Mother's Day so it was busy. I had reservations but had to wait about 10 minutes. our server was nice and often viewed with us. we started fingering walleye that were delicious. we waited for our escaped for over 30 minutes, but it was worth it. my salad was delicious, huge and visually stunning. my mother had the chicken with baked beans and kartoffels and it was perfect. it was a very good experience overall."

"I am not too happy with McDonald's we went there 2 days ago ordered 5 piece chicken nuggets two thinks of apple slices a small Sprite and when I got back to my place they did not give me my two things of apple slices and even when I went there three weeks ago I ordered a number 7 on breakfast which is two breakfast burritos and hash browns and I never got my hash browns so yes I am not happy with this McDonald's in Detroit Lakes Minnesota"

"The vegetables were over cooked, the dishes though separate tasted exactly the same. The only thing done correctly was the white rice but I'm sure that could have easily been messed up as the rest of the food. I am telling my family and friends to DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT they are trash!! Don't waste your money!!! I gave it one star as that was the lowest you could give. In my opinion they deserve a half star or a negative 3"
