"The pizza tastes great and is always made fresh. The style of pizza has a thinner type of crust, so you end up eating more than you usually eat somewhere else. If thin crust is not your style, this is not your place. The wings also taste good. Good amount of crabs and soaked in buffalo sauce. But the place can be quite expensive and they are always underused on weekends. There are only two... maybe three, waiters go around and it's clear they're always busy. But since this is said, they still do a great job. You'll just wait a little longer. Some dishes seem too expensive for what they are... But in the pizza department, the prices are all right."

"This place was nice and the food was pretty good. I and hubby went to lunch. We got it a few times behind us and wanted to try. The portion sizes are very generous, I have more authentic Mexican food, but that was still good. If you pay with a card, they ask for an ID that is strange but ok. I would definitely try it again."

"I love this soul food restaurant and will look no further. It’s my 2nd time eating here and the food is amazing. The cook/owner John is such a sweet heart. I struggle with emotional illness and were having a moment today. John took the time to talk to me, offered me some wine and made me feel so optimistic and ready to tackle life. He had no idea how much better he made me feel. I did a root canal yesterday and expressed to John I had not eaten all day. He cooked my fish platter soft as he promised and I was able to finally eat. I wish John and his business the best of luck. Please support this black owned business!"

"They're only getting 1star bc yelp demands star. Disgusting! I ordered the salmon cake with eggs over hard grits, no cheeses on anything. This egg cake thing has so much cheese on it an no salmon. I ordered specifically for the salmon cake. I asked for salt pepper in my grits. It came with so much butter no seasoning. My eggs were scrambled instead of over hard. Overall, never again."

"The Lord in the Register who took my order was very nice and helpful. He was very busy, but he still took the time to answer my question at the price. The only thing that was disappointed were the chicken wings I ordered, they were burned. They taste good, but we're still burned. Luckily I like burned food, but still burned. Was very surprised when I opened the box."

"Long wait lines. And for 2 consecutive weeks they have gotten my order wrong in the drive through. Sunday staff really can't hear to well. I ordered (2) 4 for4. She asks me what drink for BOTH. I say Coke for BOTH. I get to the window she says I ordered 1 and cannot add on anything. After waiting in line for 10 mins. Worst service. Will not return. Not worth the hassle. It's another wendys not to far from there on central Ave. Long lines too but atleast they get your order correct."

"I tried using the Quick Pickup feature to order my food, but there was nothing quick about it! They give you a time for when your order should be ready, but when I arrived 3 minutes after that time, my food wasn't ready. I had to ask about my order, and the staff told me to wait while they served someone who was ordering in person. It seems like it's faster to just go inside or use the drive-through to order, as online orders aren't given priority at this restaurant."

"I was a big fan but the quality has f Gone downhill.... First It was so hot .... no ac at all it was so uncomfortable to wait. Then the tenders were my favorite but now not so much ... I ordered 3 piece tender with fries and added a bottle soda to meet the min card requirement. It was over cooked it was stringy and hard to chew. So I knew the leftovers would not be edible if I have to reheat. When I went to open the bottle soda the entire top came off easily. It didn't make the usually sound once the air is released like it had been opened the whole time I just threw it away so basically. I wasted 13 dollars."

"The Fish Soup was overly spicy and lacked fish. I have ordered it multiple times before and it was never this spicy. Additionally, I never received my Chicken Patty Pastry. Instead, I was given a pineapple Jamaican Soda as a replacement, which was not even cold. The restaurant did not call me as they were supposed to in order to give me the option of a replacement. I was initially happy to find them on DoorDash since they are no longer affiliated with other delivery platforms. However, now I understand why. If they continue to operate like this, they will not be in business much longer. Jamaican restaurants already have a reputation for poor customer service and bad attitudes, and this experience only adds to the stereotype."

"The crab legs at this restaurant were flavorful, but the price was not worth it. I was craving seafood so I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews online. I ordered a platter for $25, which included 2 servings of crab legs, 2 pieces of broccoli, and 2 servings of corn (I requested corn instead of potatoes). There were also 6 shrimp included. The portion was not worth the price, as the platter was not family-sized. The scallops were bland and not worth the $12 I paid for them. If I were to return, it would only be for the crab legs, which were the highlight of the meal."

"Now listen, i do not go up for ANYONE'S cornbread except my mom's. In my multiple decades on this earth, I have yet to experience anyone's cornbread being better, just as good, or even merely comparable. Having said that, Tastey's cornbread is GOOD!! it's soft and light, not hard dark/burnt. I love Tastey's! Both the food AND service are top tier! True southern cuisine and hospitality. If you know, you know! If you are aware and quite fond of the former local soul food staples John's Restaurant and/or Steward's Restaurant... Tastey's will take you there! Pure 90s nostalgia in every fork/spoonful of deliciousness. EVERYTHING is good!! I wasn't too crazy about the flavor/seasoning on the chicken wings it could benefit from more of... something. Other than that, excellent all around. 5 stars well deserved! Ms. Gayle (the owner) is super sweet and polite. I've gone twice in one week. And I'll be back again lol Tip: If you dine in, it's quaint, clean, and there are antibacterial hand wipes on each table."
