"this place is a great place to stop when they are ever in edgefield. we live in charleston, but my mother recently moved to edgefield. we had not yet gone to the historic city of the city and really thought that pizza hut and mcdonalds were the only eating options. we were pleasantly surprised to find this place by a google maps search. the dining options are centered around baked goods and grilled cheese sandwiches. I had the bacon jalapeño popper grilled sandwich. it also included some grape yellow. it was served on normal white brot and really felt like a unique sandwich that I could make after a few drinks home, haha. I really enjoyed it and felt like there was something I would find nowhere else. my mother had the reubs that were grilled and very traditional. it was delicious, but the meat was not completely warmed, which was a bit different for me, but still a good sandwich overall. we also bought some of their homemade maurer jar snack mixes. the banana pudding mixture comprised vanilla wafers, dried bananas and white chocolate chips. very good and has the taste of banana pudding. another unique creation we enjoyed. we'll come back to the next time."
