"Third generation going to Tito’s and they have always had great food but yesterday was different. My wife and kids know I love Tito’s so they decided to take me to eat for fathers at Tito’s. We get our food and it just tasted so different than usual. I thought it might have been the drink so I go get a different flavor of soda and I then noticed a terrible fishy smell behind the counter. I’m guessing the meat went bad and that’s the reason why the food taste so awful? About 20 minutes after “eating” we knew we had food poisoning. Don’t understand why they choose to sell knowing it was bad."

"I have found my new favorite pizza spot. The crust is crunchy and flavorful, with a generous amount of toppings. I will definitely be ordering from here again."

"Long wait for 5 orders of pho to go. Waited 35 minutes. Not sure what to do if I order it via drive thru and have to sit there. It's hard core Asian stuff so look away for some cleanliness issue. Mainly I would guess this is the owner lady did an ad hoc food prep coming back from storage across the path in the same plaza. Marches right in grabbing door handles then proceed to make some sort of batched beverage (not milk teas). Extra tasty ?. Waited there for so freaking long in the late afternoon 5-6ish saw a lot of peeps waiting as well. To to go food was ok. I wasn't too worried about extra tasty because I boiled the soup when I got home and make sure things are cooked. The rare beef pho got 3 slices of rare beef. The soup was salty and tasty as expected. Added some water while I re-prep them. The overall quantity was above the other location say the one on Valley near Walnut Grove or the one on Gavey near New. But not sure if they are related. I would never recommend pho GA because I had yet come across a good one. It's always streamed chicken that was cooked separately without much taste or even warm, throw that into a bowl of soup pho and call it a day. I could say price is the sole attraction."

"I have been going to Norms since 1963...although times change the dedicated atmosphere and service has stayed very much the same. Portions are still decent. Cost? Well, everything has gone up right? So you just need to deal with that. Overall, nice to go out every and then.Food: 4/5"

"I am extremely upset! I just visited this location and bought 3 grande drinks and 2 pastries. I specifically asked for light ice on my dragon drink for the reason that you guys always put more ice than the drinks itself and I received my drink full of ice. I finished my drink in 2 drinks from how little drink I was given! I am extremely dissatisfied after the money I spent at your location and especially after specifying light ice! Please be more considerate next time."

"Burritos La Palma is a tough restaurant for me to review, because they are such a unique operation, and they do a few key things unexpectedly well. Rather than a deep dive into why this Zacatecan restaurant serves slender burritos that can fit into one 's palm that many people (myself included) also would consider to be tacos, I 'll simply leave it at that. Also, I 'll save the burrito history lesson for another review. And as much as other reviewers and food critics alike want to write about how Burritos La Palma somehow brought beef birria to Southern California, this notion is mistaken and, in fact, not even close to being accurate but since I don 't have a better or more definitive answer, I 'm avoiding that one as well. The first burrito I tried at Burritos La Palma was their Tinga de Pollo Burrito. The chicken tinga recipe they use here results in a juicy, mildly spiced tinga that is dominated by pork nectar and smokiness from its chipotle chiles. It is a messy, drippy guisado that demands a strong tortilla. The hand pressed flour tortillas used at Burritos La Palma are based on a family recipe and are indeed both stout and fantastic: substantial, moist, a little chewy, with a flavor that makes me think biscuits not burritos. The Birria, Frijoles y Queso Burrito makes even better use of the tortilla: they lay it on a griddle for a bit to help melt the cheese inside the burrito. The toasted surface creates a different flavor and texture on one side of the burrito, making it distinctively quirky. The feisty beef birria inside is well spiced and decadently soft. The combination of their beef birria, refried beans, and salty, creamy queso in their half toasted flour tortilla creates a whole that is superior to the the sum of its parts. I would avoid ordering the Flautas de Maiz, basically bone dry taquitos with a small bit of shredded beef and a mild runny green sauce on it. As with many taquitos, the predominant flavor of these flautas was the deep fried corn tortilla shell. This dish desperately needs more meat and less tortilla. I wanted to throw something when I realized the same restaurant that makes wonderful little burritos was also capable of producing something like this. Can 't win 'em all I suppose. Burritos La Palma now operates several stores across L.A. county and Orange County, but this location in El Monte is their original restaurant that opened in 2012. The ladies working here were engaging and willing to chat a bit about the food, and the shop was immaculately clean. I was impressed by their complimentary chips and salsa, which were outlandishly good. Upon completion of my visit here, I found that the hype and praise this operation receives is legitimate, and next time I 'll solely stick to the burritos, which is what I advise you to do as well."

"I have an order tonight! Order the Cubano Sandwich, Beef Empanada and Mariquitos! Everything was great, the Empanada was especially good and could have made a meal from several of them! They went in and they only had our orders to go. So friendly, enjoyed the visit with the Gal who took care of the transaction. Would go back there!"

"The workers are the worst. I don't think they understand how to give good customer service. They're rude. The purposely keep the phone off the hook so they won't get phone orders. I went into the store and told them I called 6 times and she told me they leave it off the hook so they can deal with everything in store."

"The service can be inconsistent, but that won't deter me from returning. The drinks are consistently good, and the food is solid, all in a clean and inviting location. You never know what type of music to anticipate at the bar, and I believe they also host a karaoke night."

"I generally enjoy the food at Jack in the Box, especially when I'm feeling indulgent with my diet. However, I don't appreciate having to request fresh fries, as they often come out lukewarm, whether they're regular or curly. This is quite disappointing."

"Food is good and cheap! I should say very reasonable priced compared to all the big restaurants which charges more or even smaller restaurants. The melon soup for $60, what a deal! Almost every table orders it. We ordered a squab/pigeon, crispy skin! Just wished they can chop it up more, easier to eat. The salt and pepper pork chop crispy and not salty, just right. Walnut shrimp was crispy and delicious! It is not smothered with mayonnaise like other places.Fried filet sole was crispy and delicious too! Comes with soy sauce on side.Fried rice and fried chow mein were big! Chow mein was crispy and not soggy like other places. That's how a fried chow mein should be!Garlic tung choi was good flavor. At the end, they gave green bean soup dessert. Love it more than red beans where most places give."
