"When we approached the counter to place our order, the staff member assisting us was quite rude. I initially thought she might be having a tough day. After we placed our order, the customers behind us began to order as well. One man, who had special needs and was accompanied by a caregiver, ordered and paid for his meal. However, when his caregiver tried to place her order, her card was declined, leading her to cancel her request.
The gentleman received his order, but as he was leaving the restaurant, the manager rushed out to the parking lot, insisting that he return the food. The caregiver explained that he had already paid for it and that her cancellation was due to her card issue. The manager responded with an eye roll. When the counter staff was confronted by the man and his caregiver, she did nothing to assist. I noticed she had even given him a receipt for his meal before he had actually received the food.
They ended up reclaiming his meal without offering a refund. After a few agonizing minutes, he finally got his money back, leaving the store empty-handed. It was truly appalling to witness. I will never eat here again, and this experience has made me hesitant to dine at any McDonald’s in the future.
