"Now, let me share the good and the bad. The restaurant's interior is really nice, and we were greeted by a very professional and friendly waitress who quickly took our drink orders and returned in no time. We were impressed by the menu and even made plans to return in the future.
When it came to the food, the cream of crab soup was fantastic, and the clams were good as well. My wife ordered a porterhouse steak (since she had indulged in a lot of seafood over the weekend), while I opted for the all-you-can-eat crabs. She ordered her steak medium, but it arrived well done—not in a good way. The waitress was accommodating and took it back. Unfortunately, my crabs seemed like they had been precooked and then steamed again, which affected their taste. The claws were also lacking in flavor, indicating they might have been overcooked or poorly reheated.
When my wife received her second steak, it was very rare. She sent it back again, and when it finally came back, it was cooked properly, but by then, we were ready to leave. I managed to eat only about eight claws, and that was a struggle.
We loved the atmosphere and appreciated the service, but the food left a lot to be desired. I hope it was just an off night for them. We'll give it another try during the season. Thank you for listening; at least we know what to expect next time!"
