"I had high expectations when I went to The Local Cure. Many of the locals that I spoke with raved about this pub. Then my good buddy Walter suggested I hit this place. I drove 5 hours in a storm from Wiesbaden to hit up this spot. Was I ever in for a treat. As I arrived, I was greeted by an older Bavarian couple speaking some type of German that I could not understand. We just stared confusedly at each other and started laughing. Haha!! I was surprised by the diversity of the menu. I ordered a cheese burger and a Hard cider. That was the best burger I have ever had. The high quality of the meat and cheese, even the pickle was insanely delicious. A perfect medium-well presentation. There was a nice beer selection too. I live in San Diego, California which is a craft beer city and I was impressed with The Local Cure's roster. What impressed me most about The Local Cure is the owner, Trevor. What a fantastic gentleman this guy is. Sometimes you can just look at a person and tell that they have a heart of gold. That's this guy! He's such a genuine guy, and cares about the food he makes and the interactions that take place in his bar. It seemed to be a mixture of locals and Americans, about 60:40 respectively. I'm so glad this place was suggested. I am not lying when I tell you this... it was worth every square centimeter of the 5 hr drive. Trevor is such a genuinely cool individual, and puts his soul into his food and customers. Not only do I recommended The Local Cure, I'm going to suggest to all of my friends that go to Europe to visit this Iconic Pub. 5-stars all the way!!!"

"we really have no lack of Italian locality. this afternoon I remembered that I had never visited the il caminetto over the offensive stubs, although it has been in this corner house for about two years. directly behind the pedestrian zone and also on the market day, it is not easy to find a paid parking space. but today there was a huge empty one. also locally. in front of the door stood an Italian who turned out like himself and went with me. I chose the table in the rear corner at the window so I could photograph unobserved. what you don't like. the room is kept creamy, the serviettes put red accented, which looks elegant and I like. I'm used to the fact that the operation doesn't come to me, so I'm talking quietly. julia had good ears and understood that I wanted to dessert. she could offer me fresh tiramisu or panna cotta, she called me. I murmured back “a tiramisu € 4,50 and an espresso macchiato € 2, ” . as most often there were chocolate sauce and spray cream as deco. I don't have to, especially because this tiramisu had a lot of sight. I didn't cost mascarpone. for this the spoon bisquit was perfectly softened. just so he wasn't dirty. in my personal opinion, a tiramisu must be creamy and not cut-resistant like a torte. but whoever likes it will cost it here. the espresso was okay. I didn't pick up the toilets, but I know you had to go down a stairs. as far as I could see, the whole gas room was flashy. when I paid the bill, the julia took advantage of the opportunity and beat over garish. I had to hear what you don't like. that really disturbed me, not because I like to live here, but because I'm the one who thinks you're a gas test – even if you've never seen him before. Conclusion: eating has cost me as a whole, as I have on 4 stars. on the service, but I turn to three stars. the facility is also suitable for a romantic evening if you want to spend it in a pizzeria. with corresponding weather you can also eat on the large terrace. And after Schatzl didn't cut a burger, we went to a late lunch on Sunday at 13.30. The Sausa is at an angle from the train station. Free parking is undeveloped. A few meters went, but nobody hurt. Although some colorful beer tents are quite protected under the arcades, they were still not snow-free and even too cold to sit outside. First surprise when entering: it was quite full. What are they doing here? We found an empty longer table right at the window, opposite the bar/theke. Everything goes casual here, the girl and the young man from service do not differ in clothing from the guests. And her boss wore cap is winter... Overall, everything is colorful, it goes quite loud, the furniture is something beaten and in every corner you don't have to look exactly... I also sat so that I had the TV in the field over Schatzl's head. I don't like that. Today, however, the men Slalom went to Kitzbühel, and so I could follow live as our Felix from Partenkirchen comes to the “Stockerl”. How do you rate such an ambience? They are well served with 3 stars. I'm overwhelmed with the menu on the table. I couldn't make special vegetables, it was unspectacular with rice. Even the salsa was too lifeless for me, and acidic cream is not a taste. Has anyone noticed I don't like Mexican food? Yeah, right! Pure food intake without feelings of happiness.... At least honey found the burger well. An espresso and then pay. Go to the toilets in the cellar, not to put the glasses here! For cleanliness, I forgive 3 stars. Conclusion: For me the Sausa is a beautiful place to go away with friends in the evening. The drinks are well mixed and there are a variety of options. There were two “Rituale” this year, to which I had been happy months, the first was praised in my Haxen Ode, the second could no longer have been weather dependent: the walk on my beloved Kramer Plateauweg. This well-maintained hiking and forest trail at the foot of the Kramer, which leads from the village to the memorial chapel of the war to the Nursingsee, runs as far as possible and offers a magnificent view of Garmisch with corresponding weather. Relax at the Almhütte, take a few steps to the mountain until you are standing at a crossroads in front of a signpost, which makes the inclined hiking bird clear that he has arrived in Upper Bavaria. Although I live in a beautiful area, the views are balm for the city soul. If not one of the rare mountain bikers disturbs the idyll, the only thing you hear is the crunching of the pebbles during walking, a quiet rusting of the trees with light wind... on the Kramer Plateauweg Kriegerkapelle, behind it Garmisch with the famous jumping hills... and at times very satisfied "Mähs" by peacefully grazing small goats (time for the standard! Mr. S.: Hmm, delicious, beautiful from the grill with, garlic, lemon and rosemary!. The way is really very convenient to go, but after a little less than two hours we had to go to the quiet lake and back to the Almhütte, the untrained feet of the writer were happy about some cooling after I had saved my sherpas and the oxygen equipment I had used by the penile well maintained Kneipp facility not far from the mentioned signpost over the Alm. A round of the graceful sporting stork step later I let the sun do their drying work, enjoyed the moment and looked forward on the wind pocket Alm, where you could not complain about boring service staff on such a day. But I wasn't just here for fun, it was a blatant open point on my Garmischer Culinary Bucketlist: the legendary Windssacks on the Almhütte. Although we have been here twice, it remained for the first time with hearty little things (Pancake soup four minus... and for the second time with drinks, because in the lunchtime you did not see how to make some of the vasper card and the lunch card, despite high summer temperatures, only options for starving wooden cries. This time we were both in coffee and cake mood, wonderfully refreshed after the Kneipps Intermezzo, the few steps went down the mountain and we immediately found a beautiful place on a table on the lawn on the edge of the magnificent terrace... Review The visit of the Almhütte, also known as “Windbag Alm”, is part of the local standard program for many holidaymakers, named Brandy. Proper stands there, the holiday house in alpine postcard landscape, the well maintained house makes a welcoming impression, the terrace was well visited on this sunny day, relaxing holiday mood reflected in the faces of the guests present. As a destination recommended for the whole family, there is a fun playground for children, the (big parents enjoy the sunny view and the walk on the Kramer plateauweg will also not overwhelm those who can no longer be topfit. Certainly no house for inspiring lunch, but for coffee and cake whispers good excursion gastronomy on Upper Bavaria with civilian prices, recommended for this purpose!"
