"I really enjoyed here. They were bit strict about 08:30 AM breakfast serving time, whereas most hotels will stop serving breakfast till 10:30AM.The lady was helping in the kitchen the guy was making or heating up the breakfast. They used all blue China which I thought was really a sweet Royal touch to the whole trip. Very very Historical feeling in our stay. They know what they are doing. I like that they only have few rooms and it's very personal touch and serving family table for breakfast. It's a beautiful, very very well kept Inn on York and Stratton. Very predominantly white population town, I saw very few non white people. It's all good. Just thought will make you aware. I have thought over and over about this place and revisited some areas of my memory. Since the whole house is full of antiques, with beds, chairs, decorative fire place, couches etc, it might NOT be a very suitable place for families with two or more kids. I almost got yelled at because my 2 year old decided to stand on the table, and the care taker came running to me, to make the baby stop. But it was not a heated situation at all, and completely understable. As the place is a museum hotel of its own kind. I would look for more modern and accepting of more races kind of place, if I decide to return to this town. But be aware hotel options are kind of limited."
