"such mixed feelings! eating, service and ambiente were fantastic. but the bill was partly soouo confusing. so they pay 250€ pp for eating, also 130€ pp for wine tasting, which is in order and fair but they charge them for anything else. like them. offer them champagner than welcome aperitif and of course they say yes. then they ask them if they want another glass before they start with their paid weinbegleitung and they say yes. then they ask them if they can have another glass wee of what they liked and they are happy to use, but they calculate the full price per glass. at the end of the day with all the extras they do not tell them the price, they end up with nearly 700€ for eating and drinks plus 300 for extra glasses wein and champagne and probably water here and there. I mean, it's okay to calculate it, but gosh, please apply it. please tell people that they charge them for it, give them a drink list or something in advance for their customers to fully understand what their cost are. although honestly, for 130 € pp for wein pairing, herr kevin mising would have given its guests at least one free glass champagne or a espresso. I am sure that what they do there could be a hidden cost or misinformation that is probably right against German. will have to read about the legislation for customer services in Germany and perhaps submit a formal complaint. in any case, be aware for future guests."

"The Alexandros is a lovely place located just off busy Mönckebergstraße in Hamburg's city center and perfect for a little break during your shopping, sightseeing or working day! The restaurant offers one business lunch per day you could check the menu online or by phone....We've been there for an Afternoon Tea. The place is so lovely and comfy you would like to stay all day it feels like stepping into a living room of a long gone period. The little restaurant has only one room with a handful of tables. It is decorated with a lot of love for detail by its owner, Alexandros. He alone is worth the visit: Born to be a host, always lovely and welcoming, you feel comfortable immediately. You could tell he loves historic tea sets china, silver, you name it, it's there since the food is served on this beautiful tableware. We had Afternoon Tea with Port sandwiches, scones, cookies, tea and of course a glass of port the bottle was left on our table for refill!. When waiting for our order to be prepared, we spent the time looking around. The restaurant used to be a book shop and some furniture and lovely stuff was kept by the owner. So you could read books or check out historic toys etc. There's also a shelf with stuff to buy: Greek Olive Oil, tea, sweets etc. Since Alexandros seems to know all his guests, at some point we were talking all together and had a lovely time. Prices are not cheap but reasonable, food is prepared freshly, the atmosphere is just lovely. We will definitely return very soon"

"Restaurant Watergate Management St. Pauli Landungsbrücken 8 20359 Hamburg St. Pauli Non-initiation of a voucher Wendelstein, 04.05.2018 Ladies and gentlemen, dear management, this is now unfortunately longer – although it is “only” the lavish sum of €25. But sometimes even 25, € can change a lot... And believe me: Actually, I wouldn't have the time for it! I want to send one forward – and that's exactly what makes the whole thing even more painful: We (my wife and I as well as our whole family have always felt very comfortable with you. The food is top and the service staff was extremely friendly – the location is unbeatable anyway. And although we live in Nuremberg, we were always when we were in Hamburg (about 4x a year for 10 years regularly with you every time at least twice. Among other things, we were with you last year when we married in Ahrensburg. In the evening before (02.03.17 with 25 people. Maybe we were not regular guests, but we have spent a few thousand euros in your establishment over the years. And... we always recommended you in our little circle of friends. (and after everything you can hear and read in Facebook, many were there too! The drama actually began on that eve of our marriage, when some of our friends thought it would be a good idea to buy us a few vouchers for your restaurant – and to give us the next day. They did that too, and so we had plenty of vouchers that we have repeatedly redeemed over the last year. Until last week on 28.04.2018... There was just one voucher over 25 (FUSINESS WANZIG! Euro left. When we wanted to redeem them, your staff refused (as we will see) to redeem the voucher by the staff for good reasons. Reason: He's older than a year – what's right... but... And now we become formal legal: A voucher for money has been taken after today's legal understanding (I asked my lawyer three years after the end of the year of the exhibition, this would be here December 31, 2020! A shorter deadline is ineffective! (all open jurisdictions in the question go more in the direction that the voucher is valid for a longer time. So your company would have been obliged to redeem the voucher. The next thing that shocked us was the fact that there was no local employee who had a voucher of 25 (FUSINESS WANZIG! Euro was allowed to decide! There was no manager or similar who was allowed to decide on such a lavish sum of 25 euros. Sorry, how poor is that? Do they have no confidence in your employees who actually do a good job for you, dear management – and for your money! (if I have learned one in my long life as IT project manager, it is: if I don't trust my employees – not even for 25 euros – then they won't give the best... But not enough! Your employees have crediblely assured me that if they would accept this voucher they would have to pay from their own pocket! This is legally wrong from several points of view: first, a worker is liable only if he acts intentionally or grossly negligently – both of which are not present. But secondly, you didn't get any damage. Finally, you have received cash for this voucher. I find this employee leadership – nicely – modest. I wanted to briefly describe how much the whole process has “generated” to us. We were back in my hometown – we had a perfect day. we had breakfast with you. The FC St. Pauli had won – and beyond any hope. As I said, we had a perfect day... until that time! I have destroyed this day!!! THAT you can't bring back... What can you still do now: Well, the least is that they will reimburse me my coupon over 25, Euro (or redeem because otherwise it will fulfill the criminal record of the fraud (I asked my lawyer and I would not hesitate to show you! But how they want to do all that again – I leave this to YOUR imagination. Because on the other hand I have a lot of imagination as an IT professional, as I can give you a worse reputation on Facebook and Co. And no that is no extortion – I will only make my opinion known! What I really don't understand: how can you be so stupid as a management, and because of 25, euros, create a media Super GAU. This is just stupid in my lawyer's words! You break the right to the non-initiation of the voucher and again with your employees who want to withdraw a redemption from the salary. And they have broken the principle of all traders: A dissatisfied customer looks worse than 1000 satisfied customers... Conclusion: Your business policy will not only harm you – but also us, because we liked to be with you – this hurts us! But a company that breaks the law and treats its employees in this way, I will no longer seek. More: I will no longer recommend it or recommend it from the visit. All my friends. And I will place it in the well-known media (Facebook, Tripadvisor, etc... accordingly... A dissatisfied customer weighs something? Speaking Boris Czerwenka"
