"Great place. I am here over a dozen times at this time and feel that I can give an informed review. This is a local, family-run place that has been opened since 1964, which should tell you something. The interior is juicy and secret, the place is worn, but not dirty or junky. The menu has all expected items and they serve breakfast all day (they close at 2 o'clock). They hired specials daily and are all good. My favorites here are the Ei-Benedict, stuffed Hasch-Brauen, double cheeseburger and chicken dumping soup. These are my Fav's, but the whole menu is just good food and I don't think anyone will be disappointed what they order. Service may sometimes be a little slow, but only during the busiest times, that should be expected if that bothers you then you are not realistic. All servers of very nice and work very hard, sometimes people, even waiters, can forget something, just ask. In all the times I was there, or the people I was with never had anything other than good food on our plates, just say. The owl is a great place for large house cooked food and beautiful North Idaho people."
