"Came here with high expectations about having a good steak but walked away disappointed... Walked in and ordered a Sangria which came with a loaf of bread and butter. Both items were good and the Sangria was made well... Ordered a Ribeye and a Mac and Cheese. It came with a House Salad.. The salad and dressing were ok... The Ribeye was overcooked and had hardened by the time it came to the table... I had high hopes for a delicious Mac and Cheese and was disappointed there as well... thought that am in the south and the Mac and Cheese ought to be better than average but no such luck... The service was good, no issues there... Don't plan on coming back here again after this experience...."

"*Update* So, I 've been back a few times now and I 've gotta let you all know: the service and the food have not downgraded. It was all the same great service, and excellent food. It 's a wonderful local establishment you must try. Really enjoyed the food and service at Geppeto 's. I 've had their food at catered events but I hadn 't gone into the restaurant and ate; I 'm so glad I did. Pizza buffet was hot and fresh, cheese was perfectly melted and the sauce must have had a 'secret sauce ' because it was amazing. Bread sticks were spot on; just enough garlic butter and crunch to them. Salad...well, it was your traditional green salad. Spaghetti and fettuccini were off the chain good. I 've eaten when the noodles were cold, stiff and under cooked but not here. Enjoyed every moment here. We 'll be back."

"Awesome Mexican Grill!! Love the salsa bar!!2 years later….Been a while since I stopped into Rancho Viejo, but went by on Sunday for lunch. I believe they are even better than they were when we were able to stop in on a regular basis! I had the Trio Enchiladas. One beef, One Pork and One Cheese each with a different sauce on them and topped with sour cream. The plate also came with rice and beans. The chips and salsa were excellent and tasted fresh. My waitress was very nice and friendly and checked on me regularly. I got there just after they opened and they did not have the salsa bar set up yet, which was a disappointment, I always enjoyed that.Definitely recommend Rancho Viejo if you are in the Hickory area!"

"This is not only the best Chik-fil-a I have ever been too.. It is probably one of the friendliest places I have ever been... I was greeted when I arrived, two other employees welcomed me. Jim took my order, nicest guy, super helpful, and even told me to find him if needed anything or had a problem. I forgot my napkins and was already seated.. When I went to go get them the girl sweeping (Aubrey) the floor stopped me and said to have a seat she would go get them... I have never had such excellent customer service ...especially at a fast food place. Totally impressed.. Keep up the above and beyond service.. WOW!"

I eat there all the time in valley hills mall, and never I have seen cuts so small, definitiw not the price worth. they should give them 3-4 pieces per order instead of 2 if they are so small. "It was my first time celebrating Mother's Day at this restaurant, and we sat at the bar to order. The bread was both soft and crusty, and I couldn’t resist dipping it in the olive oil and spices – it was simply delightful. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with sautéed broccoli, while my friend opted for the salmon. I found it hard to take a break because the dishes were so delicious; I wanted to keep eating, even though I only had one plate. The bartender, who wore a cute clip-on, was fantastic and took great care of us. I truly appreciated the special atmosphere on Mother's Day, and I can't wait to come back for the sausage and mushroom dish and the cannoli cake for two that I shared with my son."

"Went there tonight and had a GREAT meal! The service was one of the best around! They were crowded with patrons....seemed like the waitress was running her tail off but she was right on top of things with great service and we are amazed at how quickly or food was served. We really expected to be there a while waiting for our food, because, like I said, they were crowded....but they had our food out to us in no time....and it all was so delicious! "Well, the wings lubricated like wet bread wanted extra crispy and it was the opposite... The first time I had the pizza, it was completely different from what I got this time. tasted like different sauces, had different crusts and had much less peppermint than before. Cole Slav was a bowl of Mayo, vinegar and chopped cabbage.. On football Sunday, you have to be on your game and this place makes the whole order. This review is based on food... The delivery service was fast and punctual. Some places like the guilt lack of quality in delivery service... that was not the case."

"1 hour before closing in the door. they said they wouldn't serve us, it would be an hour. there weren't many people in there. we were on our way and hungry. but that was terrible service. with a whole hour and not in the position to serve men. they should turn off their entire restaurant if they are not able to make a simple meal for two people and another person who also went on."

"This plate was excellent, I had it with a red Merlot. This location also serves gluten free pasta, so my girlfriend was able to enjoy food from here, which is a major plus.
