"I am a big fan of the Pearl, I wanted to leave a review because my daughter on my attention to the back to absurd reviews that were left when she saw them on Google to get her phone number to get a reservation. I have gone to Pearl in the last two years, I have many special occasions, birthdays, celebration of new life, mourning and quite any other important event you could think of. The atmosphere is so clean and yet funny. The food is to die, they also consistently bring new and exciting specialties, so there is always something to try when you go. Every time I order food or a drink, it comes from PERFECT and the deliberate chance there is a delay because human error exists, they will correct immediately. I could go on eating for days, but what I really want to talk about and how I feel is the most important part of every restaurant, like AMAZING is every single person working there. You remember, your name, your job, your name of your wife, your name of your cousin, how you cooked your meat, which cocktails you love or did not love, they even remember how you like your water on arrival to cry out loud. You come to your table with the brightest smile and they'll tell you jokes and make you feel like a high-end restaurant? At the end of the day, I am and never was forced to go to Pearl, I was the choice to go consistently and give them my money. You bring every detail to be a well-run restaurant, and I promise you when you go, you will feel as comfortable as my family. Just make sure that it is your first time that you get as many appetizers as possible that will leave space for the halibut and bread pudding. Cheers!"

"Jimmy Hays ,we have been there many times..was always good until the last visit. Something has changed and not for the better. The service was horrible. We frequent many top tier steak houses. Always considered JH an excellent steak house until last night. We didn't even get to look at wine list when it was whisked away. Told making room. Really??? Ordered cocktails and a pelligrino. They brought a Saratoga with never a word about the substitution. Never done. Now starts the rush. Decided on dinner and ordered. Appetizers arrived. Excellent lobster bisque and excellent lump crab meat. Needed more cocktail sauce. We were not finished the Appetizer and the buspeople showed up. Told not finished. Back again in 2 minutes wanting to snatch up the plates and stood there until they could. Felt like we were in a fast food diner. Hurry up. The waiter was not very friendly. They like to think they have the best steaks. While the filet mignon was very good the strip steaks were tough. The ice cream sundae is huge and very very good. Overall it was not a very pleasant experience for $500. The service was the problem. The staff was racing around like they were being chased. Everything was a rush. Eventually all the tables filled up . There was no long line waiting to be seated so I didn't understand the rush. The wine was ignored mist of the time..poured it ourselves.. try that at Tellers or Rothmans. Sorry JH you dropped the ball. Look at your service and your steaks . It needs to improve."
