"In the beginning I must mention: I am no one who writes to everything and every one of his reviews (especially if it is negative criticism, but in this case I want and must get rid of something. As a native friese, for me a visit to the jeveran Marienbräu almost belongs to a short holiday. In recent years I have been there at least twice a year, as a crowning highlight you can see this restaurant as the restaurant of my choice for my wedding dinner. You see, there's something to me about this restaurant. But what offered me on 01.08.2020 was a merciless evil. My accompaniment and I arrived at the restaurant around 18:20 and due to the corresponding signs we went directly to the open beer garden. From eight to nine tables, only two were occupied. The service received us and we are already relatively sure of being allowed to take place in the outdoor area. This was immediately woken by the service personnel. Everything was reserved doubtful that at least two tables were not provided with reservation cards. The staff referred to it was relatively unfriendly that this was not our business. We have mentioned that we only want to eat a little bit and would stay on site at most one hour. Furthermore, the service force wanted to get rid of us. Until then, he didn't call us an alternative. Only when my accompaniment mentioned that this was not the first time to be dismissed and that he would think of wanting to return to Marienbräu again, the service power got cold feet. Suddenly a table was available near the outside area and with open terrace door. First of all, skeptical, because we had already completed mentally, we decided to take this place. As I pointed out, an absolute mistake. Small edge mark: two of a total of four tables in this area were not occupied during the next three-quarter hour. We got the card, ordered the beer (highlight of the evening and then wanted to give up the order of the food. I chose my standard dish, the beer steak. That was the classic for the last few years. I'll have been crushed there in my life in 15 20. My accompaniment asked for a classic peasant breakfast (mirror, roast potatoes, etc., that was also in the past, which also confirmed the service power. But now the court is no longer on the map and it is not so flexible to offer it. The next disappointment is certainly not in itself a fault of the restaurant, some dishes run out. That's what I thought until five minutes after the order, I saw an original peasant breakfast on another customer's plate with everything. So slowly we were getting together. Then it was time, my accompaniment received the alternative: Frikadelle with roast potatoes and some supplement salad. You can't do much wrong. The commentary of the service power, the plate is still very hot, then made sense at the first bite. Because the frying band was first heated in the microwave for a few minutes in public with the plate. One of the two hairballs also managed to stay on the plate and go back. And my beer steak? After two bites, I've regretted to take this extraordinary approach. The Klecks sauce next to the completely boiled and all other than crispy roast potatoes and connected to a piece of dead meat arched on both sides. It was very dead. After these two bites, the service everything came to their satisfaction? goes so... no reaction, but fast refugee. In addition, the sauce was so unspoiled and in no way had the peculiarities and the great taste I have so appreciated in the past. So half the sauce and half the steak stayed on the plate, with my accompaniment a frying band and some roast potatoes. Why do I write this review? Because what follows is an absolute no go: When cleaning up, I will be asked again and pointing out that the court did not correspond to how I used to it and asked if the staff in the kitchen might have changed within the last 8 10 months. The service employee wrinkled the forehead strongly, had promptly a very aggressive expression (as far as you can see it under the mask and sound, waved my comment regarding the kitchen, then was short and said I could have said something before. When I replied that he disappeared so quickly, etc. he did not let himself talk again and was quickly evaporated. One minute later, the chief shift manager came: Not even letting me talk, she pampered in the same tone as the service power, why I didn't say anything before. I wanted to make her clear, by way of example, that you can neither cut the meat, nor lift it with the fork (because it was so dry on the edge you could also see that it was a stubborn product. So did not really have anything to do with cooking. Then her comment yes, the meat is now on her plate for 20 minutes. The cook was the same and he would not have had a bad day, but rather we and your behavior was already problematic at the entrance, then she moved from Dannen, the service employee brought us the bill. Without estate, without offer for compensation etc. We still know that we would no longer enter the place formally and as it is, we would say. Except for a young assistant or new employee there, who could really convince with kindness and commitment, we did not get a reaction. All in all, from the beginning to the end, a thoroughly amateurish idea of my former favorite restaurant in Jever. I am happy to be open to a dialogue. If this is not the case, the place will be avoided by us and we are currently supporting restaurants that are worth it and where service still means service. For and I would like to make this clear in all clarity a bad day can each have and this can be forgiven. But inability to criticize and disregarding unwritten laws are not tolerated."

"The many good reviews made me curious. We were twice (on 23 and 24. August 2013) for dinner there. The quality of food and the freshness of the fish offered are really impressive. On the first day we chose a large fish plate with 4 different flatfish varieties. Although quite small expenses all came to the table without exception with the optimal cooking point. The meat dissolved very easily from the geese and the small side bones were already professionally removed in the kitchen. The only advantage for the operation (here a young girl of about 20 years) explained exactly what kind of fish should be found. The roast potatoes were perfect. On the 2nd day we ate crabs with herbalgitation and cod in mustard sauce with roast potatoes. The North Sea Crabs did not have the usual oxen tour (1 times Morocco and back) behind them and, like the herbal touch, were a Gaumenschmeichler. 3 pieces of cod (again wonderfully roasted to the point) with a taste not too intense mustard sauce in good consistency were an ideal companion for the fish. Even with hungry spirits, the portions give a feeling of saturation. The price-performance ratio is very good, even if the fish plate meets beech for 2 persons with €42. The essential is the freshness of fish and their preparation. But now for the service here we had the impression that the distribution of tables under the service personnel (3 pieces plus the boss) was not adjusted. Our order has been discontinued and only a few seconds later we have been addressed again. The procedere ran (as I said, 2 times) as follows: A young waiter (about 25 years) in black praises us without a map his fish plate and the highest tones. He asked about his menu, his reaction was more than disappointed. Because it seems to be the task of the service if possible to sell only fish plates. The band to pick up the menus seemed a little involuntary to us. On the 2nd day, the song of praise for the fish plates came again, of course, without presenting a menu before. We had to pay the bill three times before we were allowed to pay. The restaurant seems to be well visited daily, which is also justified in view of the good kitchen performance. But please, dear Butt team, don't be so intrusive and give your guests the card. Isn't it more professional to inform the guest about your additional offer with the theme areas of the map and give him the feeling that he has the choice as a guest????????? If your service had given us this feeling, this review would certainly be better. And yet, on my next trip to Jever, I see if something happened in the ass."
