"I 'm a bit conflicted here. We came in for breakfast on a Sunday recently and it was really good--high quality and a nice amount of creativity. Three weeks later I went in for Happy Hour on a Tuesday and it was pretty damn awful. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked and flavorless. The grilled artichoke was hard as a rock and thrown on the griddle--not charbroiled as you would expect; more of a light tan. They took it back to steam the artichokes thoroughly but they still came back without a char on them. And it was all covered by a watery, bland butter sauce that has us both asking, What is this stuff? Yeah, it 's butter-colored but thin and flavorless. The fish tacos were pretty good, so that helps. But the margaritas we paired them with were so tart that we had to water them down and beg for more agave. Now I don 't know if it was the chef 's night off, but something was off in the kitchen. To be fair, the service was good, and they did take the artichoke off the bill. Still, this is too nice of a place to have such an incredibly off, off-night. Hope they can do better."
