"An amazing local cuisine with the best local food. The dining room is huge and can accommodate people with plenty of space to spread so much of their business is out for the locals. The Monday special of red beans and rice with the possibility to stick in a pork stable instead of the sausage was wonderful, it was hot, creamy and satisfying, the pork stable was crunchy around the edges, rich in exactly the right ways, and delicate on the bite. The enormous catfish and fries were so good, the catfish so fresh and the dough so light, it was easy to eat everything. All main dishes come with a salad of a kind, and the red beans and rice came with kissy butter bread. The service in front was quick, efficient and very happy to fix errors. They had forgotten to put the pork chop on the red beans and rice, and when it was pointed out, it was easy and fixed."
