"Very nice Italian restaurant in center of Echterdingen. Limited parking due to being on main thoroughfare in Echterdingen. Owners have done a wonderful job of accommodating both smokers and non-smokers this winter by erecting a covered, heated outside tent (very attractive and fits into the...exterior decor) for the non-smokers to enjoy. Inside, seating is nicely spaced. Attractively decorated in a minimalist style but you still get the feeling of nice restaurant in Italy. Love the picture of the owners on the wall. Has nice selection of menu offerings, not so large as to be difficult to freshly prepare but not so small that it's hard to find something you'd prefer. There are specials which are disseminated at the table. House Nero d Avola is very good. Delicious, hot (wood-fired bread is offered as an appetizer along with a very good olive oil for drizzling and chunky salt. Gemuse Verdura from the vitrine is excellent as a starter or as a main meal for those not too hungry. Priced around Euro along with a glass of wine and the gratis bread, it's perfect for a small meal. Our table ordered several main courses pappardelle with steinpilz, whole dorado cooked in sea salt, salmon with delicate prosecco sauce, and a wonderful pasta which is dropped into a HUGE round of parmesano reggianno before it's replated and served. All molto bene on beautiful china. Waitress is apparently an owner as is the chef. KUDOS to them for a wonderful dining experience. We'll be certain to return again and again."

"About Schwabendeal I had bought a voucher for a Sunday brunch that was very busy there: the perfect start to the whole family of rich brunch in the noble 4 star hotel right at the airport from 11.30 to 14.30. A glass of prosecco for welcome, cereal, yogurt, fruit salad, cold cuts, cheese, fresh rolls, juice and much more. Numerous main dishes, pasta with various sauces, crunchy salads and heavenly desserts complete the brunch. Parking conveniently: for the first 4 hours, Brunch guests pay only 1 Euro/hour (first 3.50 Euro). The award was great and a few hundred vouchers were sold. The restaurant is located on the ground floor and thus a walk-in access, the newly opened Wyndham hotel. Parking is available in sufficient quantity right in front of the restaurant, everything is modern and punctured, nothing remembers the old Mövenpick hotel. Thus, in the adjoining hotel area different and also different-colored seating areas were created, in the middle of the spacious premises flickckert s detailed from a glass fireplace. The restaurant is in no way a modern touch, so black wooden tables are arranged, covered with placemats and fabric napkins. It sits comfortably on the grey leather chairs even after three hours and the wine bottle wall is an optical eye-catcher. In the background, jazz music runs, which is a trace too loud for us, because we still have a lot to tell ourselves during dinner. Even if the ambience told me, I found the table position, especially the two tables, too narrow. The buffet is for the approx. 32 guests open the run is first on the warm dishes. The large number of guests seems to have breakfast at home or give up. Snakes are now on the warm dishes such as shrimps, coagulums, rice, spaghetti with tomato sauce, vegetarian filled paprika, rosemary apples, scrambled eggs with bacon, broccoli, mules, ham and white sausages. At the appetizer buffet are plates with smoked salmon, roast beef, chicken parts, tomate with mozarella, small cheese plate with grapes, small filled paprika and various slates such as gurke. The breakfast buffet offers various fresh rolls, different jams, honey, butter, cereals, eggs, everything that belongs to a rich breakfast. Mirrors, scrambled eggs or what else is not built are prepared behind the scenes on request and then served. The coffee comes in a can from which everyone can serve at the table. At the esteemed view we were impressed by the diversity and the offered. At the second glance, we noticed that we missed a sauce at least for dry rice. Whatever we packed on our plate, every single one was considered isolated ok, the buffet composition for us all but no round thing. Also look around the shrimps in the bowl, the scallops and the fish, which was all dry for a long time before. So dry that it took a lot to rinse down afterwards. Schinkenbraten was present, but did not seem to be the racer. We were able to delight ourselves for the appetizers and also the breakfast buffet, for the warm dishes I spend just 2 stars because of the quality and preparation. The prosecco is no more than a nice gesture. Orange juice, another juice and water to drink can be taken from the buffet (without additional costs) and whoever serves from the beverage card to the brunch can open his purse quite nicely afterwards. For example, a beverage dish for Prosecco, house wine, Radeberger Pil, Schöfferhofer Weizen and soft drinks for 10 Euro is offered, which of course can only be booked on a table basis. for 0.75 l Gerolsteiner, ambitious 6.20 euros are taken and 5.90 euros for 0.5 l Schöfferhofer wheat. The service, young female and male waiters, were very friendly and trained. Empty plates became quick and were tied up with the new food at the latest. Bringing an espresso was forgotten. For the regular buffet price of 32 euros per person, this brunch would never have come into question for me. Although 16 Euros (converted 31 DM) per person does not sound high-priced at the moment, it is worth enough for the bid and not in my eyes. We noticed particularly negatively that empty containers were no longer filled or very delayed. That's why I didn't buy another deal."
