"We had a wonderful dinner here with 5 of our friends and were seated on the porch at a lovely round table which made conversing effortless. My husband had the Parsnip soup which was full bodied and full of flavor, while I chose the Caesar salad with anchovies which is big favorite of mine. Moving on we chose the Lobster Gnocchi and the Mahi entree which was expertly prepared, I can’t comment more on that since my gnocchi arrived and I lost all sense of time. My Lobster Gnocchi was beyond delicious, my mouth is watering just talking about it! Tender melt in your mouth gnocchi with chunks of lobster in a white lobster sauce, I ate it all! My husband brought some of his Mahi home because his soup was so filling. Our companions ordered the Steak Frites, the Crab cake entree, the pork shank, the gnocchi and something else. Again, once my entree arrived, I lost all interest in anyone else’s meals. If you haven’t tried Bramble and Brine at the Buttery, you need to. They are also open for Brunch and lunch! I would rate them a 10Dietary restrictions: My husband has Celiac and cannot consume gluten in any form. The year and a half that we have been dining there has always been safe for him. Chef will come out and talk to him about what can be gluten free and the servers are amazing professionals, they keep notes on their patrons regarding allergies, etc. That’s why we usually go once a week. They are very good about accommodating most food allergies."

"TLDR: This place is more of a relaxing chain restaurant to go to with family or friends that you go to purely because you like something on the menu and you get it at every chain you go to. This Greene turtle was VERY understaffed. Food was OK, and prices were good. Peach tea (10/10): Great drink. No complaints. At first we ordered a raspberry tea and they brought us out a peach tea because they didn?t have any raspberry tea left, but they did so without asking? So, it was a bit weird that they?d assume we would want the peach tea. Crab dip (10/10): So far this is the best crab dip I?ve ever had in Delaware. Such amazing flavors and very cheesy. Loved it. But, wish there was more crab. I also found the pretzel sticks to be super good and complement the crab dip perfectly. Old bay bbq full rack (5/10): The ribs weren?t that good. They were like those cheap ones that are super skinny that you?d find at a buffet. And since they?re so skinny, I?d recommend getting a full rack if you?re hungry. Not a fan. The onions came out cold. The bbq sauce was OK, but I didn?t taste the old bay at all. Shrimp basket (6/10): My GF likes these a lot, but I didn?t. She liked the breading a lot and found it unique. I found them to lack seasoning. They didn?t have much flavor. We liked the location of the restaurant in a community. The restaurant was understaffed to the point that they didn?t have all the tables open since there weren?t enough waiters. We had a large party ahead of us, so they told us to expect a long wait, our food came out in 45 minutes. Nolan, our waiter, did a great job serving us despite how understaffed they were. I came in expecting bad service from the recent Yelp reviews, but I was happy with the service. The bathrooms were disgusting. I think this relates to how understaffed they are, but when I went in there, it looked like it hadn?t been cleaned in days. If you do decide to come here, you?ll probably be rolling a dice on if you get good service or not. I might?ve been lucky, but others have not been. I would like to give this place more stars, but the negatives outweighs the positives."
