"she just walked through her drive thru and treated what feels like rude service. we tried to add a limonade, but they did not react over the drive thru intercom as soon as we got into the window, we asked if we could add it to the order. they said they weren't too busy and that we have to go around again to order it. then they gave us two things that we had only ordered, 1 of them was overloaded. no cars circled almost food place. not crazy. they need workers who work well under pressure and know how to talk to customers."

"The meat was old, all the sandwiches were made incorrectly, the nuggets were definitely not fresh and weren't even warm, they were too hard. The fries seemed to be just put back in grease to heat up again, and the drinks were both wrong. Perhaps there was a mix-up and the driver was given the wrong order. Mistakes happen."

"Best Mexican in Madras. This place has been consistently good for years. I usually stop for lunch but finally got to eat dinner last night. The chips and salsa are fresh and the bean dip is quite tasty. I ordered the carne asada plate and got some very good medium rare steak with pico de gallo and a roasted jalepeno pepper and of course rice and beans. Everything was hot and the plates came out very quickly. Great service!"

"The best of all the black bear diners in Oregon hands down. Joel, our waiter was awesome at his job and attentive to us as well. Food was great as well! Parking: Being right in the thick of it in Madras there is plenty of street parking as well as parking in their dedicated lot. "Disappointed! I went in to Ding Ho really craving some Shrimp in oyster sauce or bean sauce, willing to pay a good price. The waiter suggested Sezchuan Shrimp (which only listed on the menu: shrimp, snap pees, broccoli, and water chestnuts. What I got was a bland sauce, miniscule size shrimp, loads of mushy vegetables not listed like those gross little mini corn. The steamed rice portion was rediculously small compared to all the vegetables. All for 11.75, ruined my lunch!"

"we came after the online order to find that they had not seen our order. After waiting for 20 minutes, we said they had no key items we had ordered, and then waited another 15 minutes to prepare what they had. it seems as though they were perhaps very among staff, although the person who worked the bar and serve was helpful / working hard, we were not satisfied. In total, more employees are needed to run this place smoothly! they should refund some of our order they don't have, so I hope that this still happens as they said it would go back on the map, but it hasn't. a little bit pushed on the experience."

"I recently enjoyed a dinner at this restaurant and was very impressed with the experience. The price per person was between $10 and $20, making it affordable for a nice meal out. The food was excellent, receiving a perfect score of 5. The service was also top-notch, earning another 5. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, scoring a 5 as well. I highly recommend trying the Totadas and Enchilada, Guacamole, Enchiladas, Chili Relleno, and Tamale Plate. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience and would definitely return again."

"Was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint as far as the food goes. The waiter seemed to be unable to multi-task the five groups of people and would obsess over one until they were satisfied. Issues arose when one of those groups was a 12 top. The table next to us was an older white couple who could be overheard feeling like they were being disrespected (because they didn't speak Spanish like the big table) and should just walk out on their tab if they were just going to be ignored. Just a heads up to pay attention to all patrons especially when you are busy/short-staffed."

"I love their Mexican Pizza and you will NEVER find a better salsa than at Charlie’s! You can buy it separately and whenever I come thru town I always buy a LOT! (Sometimes I even bring my own GALLON jug! And, it freezes pretty well too! (Just NEVER double dip, always poor the amount you are going to eat in a separate container). My entire family can barely eat any other salsa now, and enjoy it! From Oregon, Montana, Florida, Italy, Washington, and Arizona!!! We even tried to freeze some and fly it to Germany for my brother! We all miss “Honchos” salsa and their Mexican Pizza because most of us do not live here anymore! My mom is so happy to have moved back home to Madras, we are too, so we can visit mom and go to Charlie’s!!!"

"We got the 8 piece bucket meal with 8 tenders. Half the tenders were the compacted chicken nuggets and half were the right ones that are flaky long pieces of real chicken. The compacted tenders went to the cat. The other chicken was fairly oily and soggy like it had been cooked in old oil perhaps and the breasts were the smallest ones Ive ever gotten from a kfc. It is a holiday today and weve ordered from this store multiple times and this was the first not great experience. Possibly they were running out of product or short staffed so the oil didnt get changed who knows but wont hold this one bad experience against them."

"Reviewing again because DD apparently lost the ones I sent yesterday. First one was a three because I hadnt noticed all of the issues yet... but I returned to change it because the spaghetti noodles for the bolognese were not just overcooked but waterlogged when I got into the plate more. There was no fixing it and I couldnt go to the store to have it fixed so ate watery spaghetti for lunch. Also no dressing for the salad and over oiled toast without garlic instead of garlic bread. Take your chances elsewhere, maybe youll find something more edible."
