"Haig's Sports Bar is next door, sorta. It looks like the same building. Restaurant closes with normal hours while the bar stays open longer than most all places in Manchester. Good beers on tap! Food too. When weather is good, there's outside seating with fence all around for privacy, fire tables. Inside, pool table, other games."

"This is a place I stumbled on when I was walking around Manchester. My overall opinion is that it’s got great atmosphere with outdoor seating available, but what you really want to do is sit in the basement because it’s an old bank vault, complete with the old door.It was nice and cool inside and I enjoyed a cold glass of water, an even colder glass of Guinness, and some “poutine”.Now, I was originally going to get the Pork Dijonnaise that was on special but they ran out of fingerling potatoes. The bartender was kind and did offer me a replacement but I got the “poutine” instead. It was a good lunch, but instead of cheese curds there was some sort of melted cheese.Overall I would definitely come back. It’s just a bit pricey you’re not going to be spending less than $25 most likely."

"This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It serves the best breakfast I have ever had. Every ingredient is high-quality, especially the bacon which is the best in the world! The portions are generous, the service is excellent, and the gourmet coffee is top-notch. The dinners are just as impressive. I tried the filet mignon and it was outstanding. This was the most enjoyable dining experience I have had in my many trips to Manchester."

"I LOVE this place! The food quality was amazing, especially the blueberry sausage. Dont be fooled- its not sweet, it just takes the gaminess out of it. Sit at the bar and youll be chatting up with new friends in no time! The wait staff is courteous, friendly, and super helpful! The food is all made to order ad the portions are large! Im certain its all delicious too! They get creative but not fancy with their food options and if you have allergies theyre accommodating. You can mix things up too for your own fresh style. Drink the coffee of the day its always good. And whatever you do- dont reach over the counter for the coffee pot! It might be the syrup container, lol (I watched someone do that). Also, very important- its cash or check only!! No debit cards and no atm on site (but theres one close by),"

"Our server was very friendly and provided us with some excellent food suggestions. She continuously checked on us and helped make our dinner enjoyable. "A variety of fresh food abounds...here's where the locals go to get a good meal in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere...but visitors like my husband and myself can enjoy it, too.I ordered a salad containing fresh greens, cranberries and Vermont apples, with a grilled chicken breast sliced on top. It was attractively presented, and tasted as good as it looked. My husband ordered the prime rib, cooked to his specification. We split a large slice of carrot cake which was moist and rich in flavor. Families kept pouring into the place...the service was prompt and friendly.There's plenty of parking, and for those who need, it is handicap accessible. My husband and I will definitely return here on our next visit to Vermont."

"We had such a great stay here! It’s important to note that the current ownership only took over in 2022- it seems like any negative reviews are from well before that time. The rooms were cozy and homey. At night they light the fire pits out back, so guests can enjoy the lovely outdoor space. And best of all, the family includes trained pastry chefs who make the bread and other baked goods for breakfast FRESH on site. The service was incredibly friendly as well; we realized when we woke up that we had missed breakfast, but we ran into the owner downstairs and she still made us something to eat! Such a lovely family business and a magical place to stay in summer time- I’m sure winter is great as well, given the proximity to so many ski resorts."

"Staff needs to learn to stop chatting amongst themselves and listen instead, third time in the past month my order has incorrect due to the staff chatting while taking orders. I usually get an plain bagel with egg, cheese, and spinach toasted. Each time I?ve asked for spinach I?ve ended up with sausage instead and it?s because the staff was chatting while taking orders. Just frustrating because I look forward to getting bagel works."

"I’ve been there twice now once for dinner, and once for lunch. For dinner I had the pasta carbonara with blackened chicken. For lunch I tried the poutine. Both times, the food was okay the pasta was flavorful enough but the bread seemed off and there was a green spot underneath. Since it was resting on the pasta, I wasn’t sure if maybe it was because it had been resting on a pea (peas are in the pasta carbonara) or possible mold (it was hard to tell because the lighting was so dim). Either way I didn’t eat much if the bread. The pasta portion was decent. The poutine was okay but the poutine itself was really just a bunch of melted cheese on top of the fries with the gravy added and not the traditional poutine with the curds. The staff has been very courteous to me, but when I went for dinner they seemed shortstaffed."

"Yesterday with my wife and another couple. My beers were fresh, and the margaritas my companions had were good. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The Calamari Appetizer was excellent, as well as the guacamole, which was sufficient chunky, not excessively mashed. Will be back."

"Heard great things and wanted to try. Service was good, fries were plentiful and amazing. Choices of burgers was good. We each tried the single and both agreed we would give the place a 10 except for the burgers! They were thin, nothing like the website photos and both were burned. Not just the edges but overall. We were the only customers needing food at the time, so no issue with being too busy. Shame on the cook for thinking these were ok to serve. As a rule, we don?t send food back never know what might return. We ate what we could and left. Will have to think about giving a second chance. Very disappointing, was looking for a good burger close to home."

"I tried Mystic Cafe about a month ago and we loved it so much we soon went back again! Great cocktail menu and starters. The pasta dishes are delicious, especially the sauces. Generous portions and all of the staff are attentive, but not intrusive. The atmosphere in general is very relaxing. Made for a lovely date night."
