"This is a great place for families to go after a day on the beach. Between the free meals for kids with a $14 adult entree), and the BOGO drinks, you really get your money?s worth here! Our waitress, Cindy, was very nice. We ordered the crab cheese dip as an appetizer, 2 sangrias, and a pint of fun. The crab dip was good and enough for 3-4 people. The drinks were good and I had a nice buzz before I was done with the first one. For dinner I ordered 2 soft shell crabs $32 with 2 sides). It was delicious, but I don?t think the crabs are worth the price. They were pretty small. But between the drinks, appetizer and the sides, it was more than enough. My sister got the shrimp tacos with a side of mashed potatoes and baked beans. The mashed potatoes were not great. It comes with 2 tacos and some mango salsa. The kitchen was pretty lazy about filling the cup of salsa. It had like 2 chunks of mango in it. It looked pretty sad. But, the tacos were a decent size and good so it was more than enough food. My brother got the bang bang shrimp with a side of fries and baked beans. It was good and he finished it all. With their meals they were able to get meals for each of their kids for free. They got the kids spaghetti and the kids popcorn shrimp. The plates were a good portion and the babies really loved them. Despite the mango salsa cup being 3/4 empty and the fact that I wouldn?t order the soft shell crabs again, I give this place 5 stars for service, and value. I would definitely go back again."

"I HAD A GELATO FUN! I had wanted some gelato go cool myself down after a long weekend in the sun. Gelato is much different from ice cream, and more expensive too! Walking distance from the Hilton sits a small shopping strip mall. This strip mall contains tons of restaurants, dessert shops and some smaller boutiques too. My uncle and I came inside and were blown away by how much stuff was inside. All sorts of candies from gummies to chocolate truffles. Aside from that they also have cake slices, cannolis and of course gelato. This is an Italian's dream. It is the best gelato on the island. The other ice cream store in the shopping plaza was just a regular ice cream shop, serving up everyone's favorite Royal scoop ice cream. But Dulce Mare, is an experience hidden inside an Italian dessert shop! My uncle ordered the mango sorbet which he said tasted more like pineapple than mango, but he still enjoyed it. I ordered the stracciatella gelato. This gelato is similar to a chocolate chip gelato. It has a vanilla base with chocolate chips inside. Though this one also had cookie dough in it which was a surprise to me. The vanilla ice cream base tasted similar to the ice cream mixed with icing on top of a carvel ice cream cake. It did not have a natural flavor to it, but the semi sweet chocolate chips helped to cut the super sweetness. Service was fantastic at this small hidden gem. I was more or less surprised that there was a large group of Spanish ladies working here and not a single Italian. But everyone was very nice. They were willing to let us sample at least one of the gelato flavors before settling, though when you already have your heart set, that's just the way it is. I would love to come back to this gelato/Italian sweet shop! They have so much to offer in such a small space. Definitely worth a trip and confidently located!"
