"I was here two separate nights. In the first night I had rarely crushed the cowboy ribeye medium in onions and mushrooms. It was great cooked to beat a little too much, but that's not a big deal. I had access to the salad bar and made myself a plate. Many options including bowls of pinto beans and soup as well. In the second night I had the Catfish apartment with access to the salad bar. Both plates were cooked well. You can see the cooks in the kitchen cook all the time. Nobody stayed around and they worked hard. I'm very impressed. The prices are the same for a steak house. You also get large portions. For a steak house I am a smaller town, this is very nice place to din."

"Never been to a Huddle House, that was my first time. I always thought they were just another Waffle House or IHOP, but to our surprise it was much better. I don't know if they were short or if it was normal for a Huddle House, but our waitress also cooked our food, I've never seen it before. She was AWESOME. She made me a fresh coffee. And the service and the food were excellent. The pancakes were bigger and better than anyone I ever ordered at Waffle House or IHOP. I'm not sure if this Huddle House was an exception or if they were all like this, but because of our experience here, we will Huddle House on our list of good places to get a meal."

"Here on the way back from buying a car in Fort Worth. A good friend recommended it because he grew up in Monohans, and because there are only a few Bennigans in Texas. I ordered a Bennigansburg with onion rings. The burger was very good with a large 1/2 lb-patty and fastenings. The onion rings were never seen like that before. The table service was also pretty good. This meal helped me back on the road for the rest of my trip to El Paso."

"DQ is a nice treat for us. I had not eaten a meal there for months. Service was excellent. Food was as good as always. Several friends were there at the same time. They may meet there regularly. Nice funny surprise. Parking: Parking spots are angled toward Stockton Ave which is fine for those driving south on Stockton. It is illegal to turn left into DQ if driving north on Stockton, although plenty of drivers do that, risking gridlock or an accident. It's better, but still tricky to enter from 15th St. Legal and better to enter from Doris Ave, but then all the parking is angled toward Stockton. Minor annoyance."
