"The first I came here it was 2 yrs ago on Cinco de Mayo and it was terrible Customer Service. I could've swore I wasn't coming back. Now this year, I decided to give them another chance! The place is very small inside, the rice and beans could use more flavor but the food is great! I come here now when I'm in the Monroe area. They have nice prices and new veggie section that my daughter like."

"The food at this restaurant was great unfortunately I am giving this place a 1 star review for the lack of communication. On Saturday July 23 2022 I ordered a tea with milk and i had asked for less ice with my beverage. The shocker to this situation was that i was charged more money for asking for less ice now tell me if that makes sense. If i was told in advance it would’ve been a different story but the lady said screw my wallet I’m just gonna charge this young man more money for the hell of it. This is the kind of stuff that makes me not want to tip and restaurants and i am by no means rich so i try to save however i can this was a foul move on the restaurants end please do better!"

"Been here a few times. Food is always great. Not perfect or “best burger in NJ”, but great nonetheless. Never minded the long waits or dropping the fries 30 mins before the burgers or even the high prices. One time we were turned away for walking in 15 minutes before they close (didn’t know they closed so early and chalked it up to a fluke situation of bad customer service). That was a couple of years ago. Recently tried to order online about an hour before they close, order wouldn't process. Tried calling, couldn't get through. So i go there. A man child begins huffing and puffing as he walks over to take my order, says a reluctant “yeah” when I ask if I can place an order to go, obnoxiously looks at his phone for the time and states “you know we close at 7, right?” At which point, I just walk out. Seeing similar reviews on here makes me feel vindicated. Actively rooting against this small business."

"Just went there for the first time but definitely not the last. All 4 people in our party LOVED their meal! Including the super picky professional chef, and the guy who lived in Italy for several months. My veal piccata in particular was perfect fresh mushrooms roasted just right, tender veal without any tough spots, delicious sauce, and just the proper amount of capers to give it the piccata taste profile without overwhelming the dish, like many places do. Love it. P.S. Really don't know what the 1 star reviews are complaining about, the staff was amazing, the service was prompt, and everybody was SO nice."

"I am gluten-free, and the menu didn't have too many choices for me, but I ordered one of the fish specials and the waiter swapped out the breaded-and-fried vegetable for something plainer that I could handle. Everything was cooked very well and delicious. My friend had the meatloaf, which she also enjoyed very much."

"I always keep going back in a hope that food quality becomes better one day. Every single time we have nothing but disappointment. Last Sunday we ordered boneless chicken biryani during closing time (everything else was closed). The rice was very very dry and chicken undercooked. Why do you do this Hot Breads? We hope to get fresh food(we are paying for it). Please respect customers. I have many incidents in the past with them. Summarizing them here so people read and order with care: Biryanis are never fresh Stale Veg puffs They once forgot to make samosa party order Appetizers are hit or miss Pastries are dry"

"The L10. Szechuan with pork was amazing, some of the best Chinese food I apos;ve ever had! I loved the hot and 22. Hot Sour Soup as well, and they were incredibly nice and hospitable when I went to pick it up. It may be my new go to spot"

"I would say that eating is good, but I couldn't eat it because they converted it into a pizzeria with three small tables, one of which was covered with pizza boxes. the next room that was the restaurant is now an Italian market. "Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "I was super impressed with the quality of the food at jasper stone. Even the butter was to die for. The restaurant is beautiful inside. It is super romantic and really is a quite hidden gem! We got the opportunity to meet the owner which by the way is a woman! You can tell just by walking in what her vision was! However back to the food which by the way was amazing every plate they brought out was delicious from the bread to the appetizers to the dinner and desert. The food was also plated very well. The service was phenomenal the waiter seemed very comfortable with us and definitely knew his way around the menu. My overall experience was great and would 100% recommend this place for a quiet intimidate romantic dinner. If I had to critique this fine dining spot the only thing I would say is that they don’t offer alcoholic beverages but the upside is that they do have a BYOB option which we definitely will be doing next time we visit! Love love loved this place"

"This is our go to spot but lately things have not been as good. Chicken in the chicken and broccoli was gummy, bbq pork was super tough and swimming in oil/liquid, pork fried rice was not fresh rice was crumbly and oily. I'm at two strikes, especially because this is not a dash pass restaurant and we pay for delivery."

"place NEVER makes and delivers food on time. not even close. its literally every single time. i went there and observed to figure out why. they take the online orders and put them aside until ALL customers are out of store and they have time to address. i watched them put 6 tickets onthe side and i stoodthere 30 mins and still havent addressed them. then got a message saying running behind. this will make it over an hour. guaranteed to get cold food. waste of time."
