"After a long time, I visited this place, i don't remember exactly what was the name of the old restaurant, but Locanda Vecchia is the successor and seems to be a perfect fit. At first look, it is like a seashore side beautiful house with a porch and all. It was Friday evening but We had the reservation, The Place looks alive and cool... full bar is there with 6-8 high chairs. High tables are also there overlooking the road. The outside seating arrangement looked cool but it was 100F weekend so I did not take a chance and settled in the main dining area. The menu had everything that you expect in any Italian restaurant... We ordered: Braised Duck legs: with port red wine reduction, truffle mashed potatoes, and sauteed vegetables... I. always wanted to try duck delicacy and was it good? Loved this dish—mashed Potatoes- so smooth, not dry, perfect mix of butter- too good. Gamberi: Shrimp with spaghetti in spicy tomato sauce, it was good, not that spicy as mentioned in the menu, but good. And some beers... Prices are on the higher side but the food was worth it. Ambiance: nice decor, keeping it classy... Would recommend it for sure, and if you love Italian cuisine, you should not miss it."
