"General The Santorini has been on our trial list for a long time. Since we were very much after meat and Greek flair, we had a visit to the restaurant. It is located near the train station in a small street, you can park for a fee and with luck in the neighboring streets or in the car park at Bremer Platz. It is also easy to reach by bus. It looks pretty from the outside, but we've never noticed it before. We had reserved two days before the phone, this is to be advised. The restaurant is partly barrier-free, but the toilets are very tight. The audience is more about the 30, chic not necessary. Operation After entering we were kindly greeted and we were assigned from the counter from our table. Immediately after reaching the table came the very charming service lady, brought us cutlery, napkins, the cards and two ouzo. On sober stomach brilliant to stimulate hunger even more (we should regret it. We were called two daily dishes and then we were able to devote ourselves to the menu. In the meantime, the beverage request was already received, which was then immediately fulfilled. Also in the further course of the evening the drinks came very quickly after the order to the table. Unfortunately, despite obviously empty glasses, it was not asked for another drink request, but you can also open your mouth. Unfortunately, it took too long to give up the food order with a young man. Overall, the service was competent, very friendly and cordial. 4 stars (1 star trigger due to the above comments . Essen The menu is available online. In addition to soft drinks, there are beers from the barrel and from the bottle, a Greek beer, hot drinks and a good wine and choice of spirits. The map is very extensive, too large a choice for people who are not in favour of decision. Cold and warm appetizers are offered including mixed dishes, salads, vegetarian dishes, various sauces for extra order and of course a wide range of meat and fish dishes of any kind. The prices are reasonable, appetizers from about 4€, main dishes are between 11€ and 20€. We order Mythos, Greek bottle beer (0,33l to 2,70€ , could have been a little colder and Cola light (0.5l to 4,10€ . It should be a mixed mese plate (10,90€, then the Herakles plate (18,90€ and the Cypriot plate (14,90€). To the Mese plate (but also without appetizer there were homemade bread, still warm, very compact, extremely tasty, crispy crust and fluffy interior. Unfortunately also very powerful. Can you not leave the fingers of bread, so suffer your stomach later on. The appetizer was made of Tzatziki (very creamy and spicy, tomatoes and cucumbers, Chtipiti (cheat cheese chilli cream, picant and tasty, not too sharp, Skordalia (potato garlic puree, slightly tasty The Herakles plate consisted of Gyros, abundantly garnished with onions (well seasoned with salt, very chessy and tasty, in cold condition somewhat dry, a chicken fillet (species and juicy, discreetly seasoned, a bifteik ( juicy, easy, good grilled crust, 2 lamb chops together) Optically, the whole was very imposing, on the large plate the spits stuck in an onion covered with aluminium foil, crowned with a crown of green peppers. The foot sequence gracefully drapes, which decorates few free spaces on the plate in a discreet manner. The quality of meat was very good, as was the preparation and seasoning. The Pommes Frites were standard work. Overall, this main dish has tasted convincingly, but the portion was already very large and not to create. The food could have been a bit warmer. The Cypriot plate came with Gyros (identical as with Herakles, therefore, on top of it were two oxen choppers (a hint of pink inside, juicy, outside greedy and picantly seasoned, with four really large grilled cheese pieces, surrounded by paprika and onion on the skewer. But unfortunately very tasty. I chose the Greek kiln potatoes (cold potato strips, without crust but still very tasty and also from the consistency in order, not too hard to soak and the salad from the buffet was also included. Also decorated was my plate with Tzatziki, orange slice and green. My meat components also convinced of taste and preparation, as well as potatoes. Only the cheese became unpleasant with increasing cooling, but this cannot be avoided. This portion was also more than sufficient and could have been warmer. The salad buffet offered to almost all dishes is small, but fine, tidy and clean. In addition to mustard, yogurt and cocktail dressing, various oils and vinegars were also available. There were green salads, tomatoes and cucumbers, corn, peperoni, herb salad, a bean salad with white and Kidney beans and red onions as well as a potato salad with clear dressing and also red onions. Senfdressing could score with freshness and a beautiful, slightly sharp mustard note, even the finished salads were very tasty. In addition, ketchup and majo were ready in buzzy crawling bags. Overall, the food gets 4 stars, a little more warmth would have been nice and maybe you could tickle the last of the pasture from the food with fresh herbs. The included Ouzo after eating could not change anything at the upcoming soup coma and stomach highs. Ambiente The place is not huge, but you sit at a pleasant distance from the neighbors. Although the place was filled to about 2/3, it was amazingly quiet. We noticed how quiet it was. Not because only silent handy-playing couples were present, it also ran music and kitchen and service. Nevertheless, it was very pleasant to sit there and eat. The facility is well maintained and coordinated, not overloaded cheesy, not stressed Greek. We felt comfortable and welcome. The tables were covered with burning candle, which unfortunately smelled very bad, a flower and pepper and salt. Although we already had a 4 table for two, it was very close due to the large plates, glasses, beer bottles etc. Therefore, 4 stars for a beautifully created atmosphere to enjoy. Cleanliness The restaurant was clean and well maintained. The toilets are a little old, simple and clean. Therefore, a star trigger. Conclusion: Smems until the Ranzerl runs. For us the Santorini is one of the most beautiful Greeks in Münster (dominantly unkitchen and with almost very good food, we can recommend a visit."
