"I had dinner here and went because it had great reviews. I lowered my expectations upon arrival and resigned myself to a mediocre meal, based upon first impressions. Boy, was I wrong! Located in the corner of a parking lot in a mall, I walked in to instructions to order at the counter, and pay when I ordered. Honestly the layout isn’t very welcoming, and there was a pungent smell of fish sauce (pretty sure that is what it was). I ordered the Pad Kra Kao with beef, asking for a level 5 heat, paid and found a table (easy, as there was only one table occupied). In short order my dish arrived, and it looked fine, not amazing. I took a bite and was shocked by the flavor it was incredible and spicy! I like heat in my Thai food but I am glad I didn’t order it any hotter; they don’t fool around. The sauce was fabulous and as weird as it sounds, the rice was out of this world… it looked like your standard cup of white rice but the texture was perfect and it had wonderful flavor. I’m usually good for about 1/2 a serving and will take the rest of my plate home for another meal, but I ate all of it. I was stuffed but between the flavors and the spiciness, it was addictive. The service was excellent and I was checked on throughout my meal. I am only in town for another few days but will be back at least once more before I go! I will say, they seem to do a primarily to go business; if I lived in town that would probably be my preference as well."
