"The price of brunch has more than doubled since our last time. Website still listed it as $34. It wasn't worth $90 for the food. You have added another number of food stations. Prime Rib (teough tacos (prepared in advance and some dried eggs Benedict (prepared in advance). there was an option for a “full” brunch for $34 or a lighter version with fruit and grain. The full brunch was perfect: made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles. Huge selection of pastries, fresh fruit, bread, sausage, bacon 2 types of potatoes. Hot and cold grain gourmet desserts, etc. Now your only option is a $90 less than perfect spread."

"WOW! First of all this place is gorgeous, the scenery and backdrop almost look fake. You can sit in the pool and enjoy the Camel Back Mountain views or enjoy your private patio and watch the hummingbirds go by. The grounds are well maintained and the plants and gardens are breathtaking. Both pools are fabulous as well. I really enjoyed that they have an adult only pool for the times you just want to relax. The Kasbah pool is huge with a great water feature and a huge hot tub on the upper deck. The Joya spa is absolutely stunning! From the minute you walk in, you know you are going to be treating yourself. Overall this is an amazing place, but the staff makes the difference. Haleigh and Tori are outstanding pool side staff, they are completely on top of taking care of their guests. You can NOT skip a Tapas tasting at the Prado with Chef Luis, bravo!!! He did an amazing job, the menu was a flavor bomb!! LaVina made sure to treat us well during our tasting and even took the time to make drink suggestions to go with a few of the Tapas. We had such an amazing time, the only disappointing part was having to leave!"

"the room is strange in terms of ambiente. the lighting is different in each part of the restaurant, in some, then at night in others. the service was not the largest. we had a few expensive bottles of wine and water for our whole table. the waiting staff first shook, then not the rest of the meal. one of us even asked for more pelligrino and than pouring against more into the glass, when and got another bottle. they were nice, but no love for detail. The atmosphere is very romantic and perfect for this special dinner. Speaking of dinner, I had my dinner there! Shannon was such a great help for everything we needed, and all the questions we had. And the lower terrace was perfect for 30 guests joining us for dinner, not only super dreamy with it surrounded by lush green, but it was in the rear corner and felt perfectly secluded so that our dinner was never interrupted by restaurant guests."

Edible but left a lot to be desired considering the price and the caliber of the establishment. If I stay at the hotel again I'd probably drive off property for other food."

"Enjoyed Mother’s Day at El Chorro and they out did themselves, just wow! The staff was so accommodating, professional and friendly. It was a hot day and we were all toasty, the team at El Chorro after an ask did an amazing job getting us a comfortable table. Our waiter was the nicest and spot on. The food, ugh, I was hurting leaving it was so good. Had that Thanksgiving food coma coming. Not hating : The potato and leek soup was perfect, even our toddler was loving it. The eggs Benedict with crab cake and filet was just decadent and rich, and the deserts I’ll be dreaming about when those late night munchies hit for months. Of course not to mention the amazing sticky buns and baked goods to start, yum!! Everyone had an amazing time, and we can’t wait to go back. Thanks El Chorro, nailed it!!"
