"they were more than once in the extra leaf, their breakfast is lush and tasteful for a good price. the service was attentive and we have our coffee very fast. the buffet has a large selection of brot, spreads, cold cuts and even fried eggs with speck. lunch and dinner has almost the same menu, good eating for a very cheap price. the service is very good and attentive and the atmosphere in the restaurant/bar is very cozy. they serve a lot of beer and the one that is to try spaten beer, has a great fruity fresh taste."

"Beautiful restaurant located in a former greenhouse, which is actually still very green with lots of plants and trees covering the aisles and the roof it feels a little bit like having lunch or dinner in a jungle. The restaurant is famous for it's Mongolian buffet, which offers a variety of meat and vegetables either cooked or uncooked. You can choose between filling up your plate with steaming food or watching the cook roast it at any time. There is also a sushi, a salat and a dessert bar. The food itself is average not bad, but not brilliant either. It's just to it's price, if you have one or two drinks, you will leave below 20EUR. The service is good, most waiters are polite and tables are cleared regularly. Definitely worth a visit, and if it wasn't so far out, I'd probably go here more often."

"since one last had a bus in the workshop and it took a whole time with the repairs, one drove from Willich – Sloping Zug, where the bus was repaired, to Düsseldorf, so got an lizard to eat something there was only one kiosk in the industrial area there. recommended was the la cantadina in the oberratherstrasse 67. and this was recommended so directly to my taste. a local who is furnished in Italian – mediteranem gusto, simple, but with small loving details. For even the eye eats and sees, and not only when it comes to eating alone. in the local one stone – pizza oven, but this time one ordered a creamma di pomodoro, (tomato soup 4,80-€. and a shrimp cocktail for 9,20 €. with both you were well fed, the service was extremely friendly and fleeting, giving good 4 . would this location not be so far away from home, it would certainly be one of my favorites."

"We were staying at theHotel Haus Kronenthal next door and needed a nice place to take our family to for a lunch. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table. The staff helped the elderly who were dinning with taking...their coats off. Menu's are NOT in English only German. However, that is not a problem as the restaurant will find someone on staff to help translate. The staff will make themselves understood and help you with your selection. But, still bring your German dictionary if you are not good at German. The place was inviting, clean and well presented. Drinks were served promptly and the order was taken. When the food came, it is very good. You need to try something from the game menu. You will not be disappointed. Sides included seasonal vegetables and of course potatoes. You can substitute the type of potato you want by only asking. Half portions are available for those who can not eat a full portion or for the child who does not want to order off the children menu. Service is included in the price, but tipping is appreciated for very good or excellent service by rounding. Parking is available next door which is shared with the hotel or across the street. I would highly recommend eating at Cedric's when in Ratingen"

"battera is a secret tip in düsseldorf. a small, original Japanese locally with excellent eating. only 22 places and so fast at midday. why is not difficult to guess: eating is excellent, pure, fresh and original Japanese. Just try the free bowl suppe they get to eat: a deliciously strong broth. düsseldorf has the largest “Japan Town” in the world (outside japans,) so if a Japanese local is good there, it must be good. Please note: batera is closed at the weekend. it is therefore particularly well recommended for a lunch under the week!"

"We ordered the standard Italian fare. Pizza brotchen, tagliatelle with housemade pesto sauce and a Diavolo Pizza. We ordered it all to go and it was ready in about 20 minutes. "Very good restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. Went there with a group of 12 and we were all very satisfied with the quality of the dishes. Service was quite quick and the waiter was very friendly and patient (which is needed when taking orders from a group of 12).Appetizers and main dishes did not disappoint. Meat as well as fish dishes were flavorful and well prepared. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars had the wines not been disappointing. We tried 2 different Italian wines (recommended by the waiter) but I found them to be disappointing and too expensive for what they were. Other than that, no negative remarks whatsoever.If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant in Ratingen, this is it."

"Great location near the Wild Park/Golf Course. Nice ambience inside with outside tables that unfortunately overlook the parking lot. We had the paella for 2 which was one of the best we have had. The menu is in German with no English available. We asked our waiter for a one hot and one cold tapas. He suggested the gambas (shrimp) which is also on the paella. His English was good, but not all that helpful.The sangrias were OK. Brought us our check before asking if we wanted dessert--which we did. It was clear that we would be the last to leave the restaurant. We were tired afted a long day of driving and we did not want to get picky. This is great for a local dining area, but would not go out of my way."

"Whilst I agree with most of the review of ChutzpahUK I must disagree with his description of the place being a dive. La Petite Affaire is a small bistro which I have frequented on many occasions. The food is definitely French as is Houda, the...wife of the Bistro owner. Mark, the owner speaks perfect English and is very accommodating. It is a wonderful place to relax with a glass of wine whilst listening to the atmospheric French music. Of course the menu is in German, after all it is in Germany. Definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed"

"Unsere Bewertung basiert darauf das wir selbst Asiaten sind und weltweit schon viel Dim sum probiert haben. Alles war insgesamt durchschnittlich bis unterdurchschnittlich. Das beste waren immer noch die frittierten mochis mit Fleischfüllung. Die Grünen vegetarischen dumplings die in den Bewertungen auf Google gehyped worden sind waren absolute unterirdisch. Die Garnelen belle hatten zu wenig crunch draußen und waren leider auch nicht die besten. Da ist dschunke deutlich besser. Natürlich haben wir nur frittiertes bestellt, aber nach dem Essen haben wir uns gefühlt wie die letzten Menschen. Service war nett. Ich würde hier nicht noch mal herkommen, auch wenn wir nur überwiegend Dim Sum probiert haben. Da gibt es deutlich bessere in Düsseldorf. Bestellempfehlungen sind: alles was mit Garnelen zu tun hat stecken lassen. Und nur die Mochi Bälle mit Fleischfüllung waren ok aber Heavy. Die Garnelen Bälle aufjedenfall skippen genau wie die Grünen dumplings."
