"we came after a long journey to halloweentown. to discover that the festivities for the weekend cancelled, wet cold and hungry. after the haunted house, which was gratefully opened, we found that this is the place to go! we come to the place, a flash back to a mother and pop dinner in the 30s and 40s. they sit down so we have a seat in the direction of the toilets. we ordered our drinks that they can have alcoholic or not. my young hot chocolate looked so great, the biggest hit cream mountain with a cherry top. I order a 7up because I forgot my ID in the hotel. we look over the menu and the Adults order, my own I had the chicken fried steak, kartoffels, smothers in landgravy, and a cup thier clam chowder! my step dad, order the special 9 oz prime rib baked kartoffel and salat! my mother of the taco salad. we were disappointed! my chicken fried steak was perfected and the gravy! so good! my suppe was a great start to warm up after playing in the rain! my grade dads prime rib was aged and cooked over the believe! best and most tender we ever tasted(we had all one bit) moms taco salat was also great, it was not bag salat it was hand stuffed and amazing! then for dessert we have cream pies! had to be made in the house! I have the banana cream, and I wish I could deliver it, it was so good! our waitress though busy, very attentive to us and great personality! everything in all a great place for family eating!"

"We spent the last week in Seattle on vacation and needed a diet of fresh seafood. We stayed in St. Helens on the way to Oregon Coast and during the search restaurants Roy Thai stood out. We were immediately greeted by a friendly young man who sat at the front window, where we were able to observe how people walk past and after our drinks were served, we relaxed after a full day trip. We scanned the menu and discussed options to share and immediately the Crispy Basil Chicken was out, so we ordered it together with Sizzling beef. Crab Rangoon filled our hunger until our orders came and immediately I knew our food was good. For me, presentation means a lot and if the cook spends the time to make your duck look attractive, then I think he also took the time to cook it right. The sizzling beef was served on a gussein-iron dish, which rests on heavy wood, and beef and vegetables were sizzling in a dark brown sauce. The Crispy Basil chicken was what my eye and nose had. The many pieces of chicken in a red sauce looked amazing and raw wonderful. My wife and I shared both orders and tasted rice from two bowls to quickly fill our plates. The sizzling beef was excellent with good taste and delicate beef and delicate vegetables, but the crispy basil chicken was the show stopper. The chicken was kind of tender inside, but with a crispy outside. I don't know how to describe the outside of the chicken, except to say that unlike any chicken I've ever had. The sauce in which the chicken was had an excellent taste and consistency and we both thought we chose the right combination because both taste complicated the other. After our meal, one of the owners stopped at our table and we discussed the meal and it was easy to see that they were proud of their restaurant and the food they put on tables. We finished the evening with a Thai iced tea with ice in it and it was another amazing combination. I can't say enough good things about Roy Thai and I wish we live closer than two thousand miles away."
