"Our experience with Rue de Jean was a pleasant one. Our service was outstanding. The scallop pasta dish was absolutely delicious. We ordered a steak and unfortunately it came out charred on one side but the manager was very quick to take it off of our bill. Wine selection was excellent and the wine we had was fantastic. Overall a wonderful experience and we will be back"

"Don’t believe the reviewers claiming poor service or long waits. We were sat immediately, had our drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes, our entrees within 30 of being seated. Our server was exceptionally attentive, and we even saw the manager helping take orders and seat people. The food was great and the staff was amazing."

"We stopped at the Vault for lunch and they offer Laotian and sushi food option.The inside was bright, nice, and good amount of indoor plants. Our server was attentive and knowledgable with the menu.We ordered the vegetarian bond that consist grilled tofu, eggplants, mushroom, onions, and squash with teriyaki sauce and we asked them to make it spicy and they delivered! We had salmon rolls, french Baguette, vault and salmon sashimi and my kids said they were good. The vault sushi was just okay.One of my kid ordered butter noodle and we didn't recommend that. It basically a wide rice noodle with butter so the texture and taste just not appetizing.We also had nickel noodle stir fry and it was really good. The seasoning on this Nickel noodle stir fry was on point.Overall, was a good experience and good food."

"My husband and I accidentally walked from this little diner on our walk for a Savannah city centre. This is now a new MUST every time we are in Savannah!! The food was absolutely delicious, full of taste, unique, and some of the best I had in a while from everywhere! I had the Avocado Smash, my husband had the Peace Bologna Sandwich. They were both so amazing that we shared and ate half of each other! I am a restaurant manager so much more critical than some when it comes to service and food specification, the service and atmosphere was also great! Thank you Maddie and Shorty for making our brunch perfect and a new Sav stop for us!"

"It was our anniversary and they chose a table for two by the windows upstairs. I had never eaten upstairs and it was beautiful. They gave us a complimentary glass of champagne to start our evening and EVERYTHING that we had was delicious. Our waitstaff (Jordan) was an absolute delight. Also, we were very impressed by how reasonable the prices were for what we ordered. We won't wait so long to come back. Thank you for a delightful evening."

"had totally ruined my wife's birthday dinner. 1. this “restaurant” completely ignored that we had a birthday dinner. the service was much worse that you can ever imagine. 2. steaks were so hard to bite, you cannot imagine that they were not made with frozen meat. if they want good steaks, they avoid this place at all costs. meat with many tendons? ruth is the right place to try for them. 3. the sides are the worst. even if they cost extra, I had a budget of $500 for two for this dinner so I don't care. have they ever tried to freeze spinat? this place can help them because ruths steakhaus is a sweat. it will ruin everything they think is Steak House. go somewhere else and you'll eat better. 4. service? how about a waiter, how you can hardly open a wine bottle. Yeah, I'm serious. I asked about a $100 bottle of wine and it took 30 (thirty) minutes to bring it and open it. the waiter couldn't open it. “You want to taste it,” he said. 2018 French red wine bottle. jesus, these young have no respect for such red crying at all. and wait 30 minutes to get it, you **** junk. total. opentable. why ask for special occasion during booking if there is no influence on the place? Simply mute, remove this option. this place has no respect for open table. birthday? this place doesn't care. Why would it be important to you? müllplatz, still expensive. avoid them at all costs. Never go there. Never try to go anywhere else."

"I went here with my non-vegan step mother (who is considering converting) last week after having it recommended to us by a local. There are a lot of vegan options around downtown Savannah so the fact that this place actually had vegan dishes that weren’t just salads was pretty awesome. I loved the tofu teriyaki bowl (with steamed rice, the fried rice is not vegan) and the Oglethorpe roll was amazing and full of veggies. My only compliant is that they do not label these items as vegan or vegetarian. The server was super helpful in helping me find what was vegan, however, since those are two items they do not need to be modified to be vegan, I think they should just label it as such like some of the other restaurants in the area do. "Just ordered this on door dash because I noticed it one day and the food is not good at all. I figured it wouldn’t be when the arrival time was 10 minutes after I ordered. NO SEASONING WHATSOEVER! I ordered Thai fried rice with chicken and shrimp. The chicken tastes raw, this doesn’t taste like Thai food at all.I would recommend Ruan Thai in downtown savannah or PJ’s Thai also downtown."

"Our server, Cati, was amazing and attended promptly to all of our needs... The food (that I had) was excellent... The organization of how the food line was for the buffet was not good at all... People were randomly roaming around in a very small serving space... I also feel that there should have been an attendant to the food stations preventing people from digging serving pieces out of the food with their bare hands when they fell into the dishes... I witnessed this 4 different times... It is very unsanitary and just plain disgusting... I didn't even get to try those dishes due to that, and for $80+, I feel like I should have had the same opportunity as everyone else... The overall experience was good... But, I think I'd prefer trying this again when the experience is menu selections vs. buffet style."

"Dined here last night and had a fabulous experience. Rebecca was a phenomenal server! She knew the menu like the back of her hand and made you feel confident in your selections—it’s clear she loves working there, and it honestly contributes a lot to the guest experience! Also, the courses were timed out perfectly—we didn’t feel rushed at all (and never felt like we were waiting around), which made our night enjoyable. As for the food drink—wow! "Went to NYE and has bar seats. Super cool location like in the basement. I have a pina julep that was delicious and strong. A unique tomato bisque (more on the cunning side, which is a beautiful change of pace) and a super tasty chicken gyro. Can easily say I haven't tried this combination yet. Also with Grisen. Usually I'm not a big fan of grottos, but they were delicious. Very impressed by everything. If you are in Savannah and want a slightly higher place, this is the place for you."

"If you are going to Savannah, do not miss out on Elizabeth’s on 37th! We tried both here and The Old Pink House, and Elizabeth’s blew them out of the water.The staff was very friendly and helpful with the menu, and there were a few pretty fun and exciting staff members working that night that added the overall appeal. Apart from that, the venue itself is lovely. They really did a great job on preserving it (check out the big bathroom too! It’s awesome We each ordered a few things, and after my first bite of the starters, I knew this was gonna be memorable. We had the clams in a truffle sauce and a couple of the soups. Both were very good, but don’t skip the clams if they have them!We followed that up with a steak, flounder, and chicken dish that each blew us away in their own way. Even the skeptic of our group who hated paying more than $30 a meal said it was outstanding. After that, we finished with desserts, which, again, we’re wonderful.Next time I’m in Savannah I will be making a point to get over here again!"
