We got the opportunity to create our own menu for the occasion and we were delighted to see the party girl's name printed on each custom menu. Throughout the evening, the staff proved to be attentive and friendly. From appetizers to desert, was expertly prepared. While the restaurant have a separate parking area, we found that during peak times, securing a spot could be a bit challenging. "I miss the days of making your own plate at the salad bar but under the circumstances, I understand why we can't. My favorite things at the salad bar were the macaroni salad and the sesame noodles, so good. It's worth getting an entree and adding the salad bar to it. I filled up mostly on the salad bar fixings and saved the entree for another meal at home. The staff is friendly and I enjoyed my time there. Just sad so many locations have closed but it was nice to know this one was still open. My friend and I split the mango salmon and the dill salmon and it all tasted really good."

"Great NJ Diner experience! My family and I (4 adults, 2 adolescents, 1 toddler) came in Black Friday for a quick bite to eat and Scotchwood Diner met our expectations and beyond! A lot of choice for every eater and easy could be a big party with children without problems. "This place is just so cute and has so many options! Stop by Yummies for a delicious quick treat! They have a variety of sausages and hotdogs you can choose from or you can make your own with whatever toppings you want! They also have a variety of specialty sandwiches to choose from, or again, you can just simply make your own custom one!! They also have yummie (hehe get it? sides such as wings! I got their Cajun wings with a spicy mayo on the side and it was amazing! The pricing is good and the portions are also good. They made the food right in front of us and gave it to us piping hot! You just have to wait a little while. That is the only annoying part. But in return, you do get fresh food. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their hotdogs were also good. I can't wait to go back and try more of what they have on their menu."

"The morning crew (about 8-10) is great! I had been there 6 months ago or so and had a terrible experience, it was super short staff and they got my order completely wrong. It was quite a mess at the time, and I am very pleased that it has improved enormously. Order is always correct, it seems to be a smooth operation, and the employees are all super nice. Great work!"
