"I posted this on the Wings, Etc. website but feel this site will give a wider audience my thoughts. I go to the Sturgis, MI Wings, Etc. location a couple times a month and have discovered that you have one of the best servers I have encountered at any restaurant. Peter is a personable man, very attentive to the needs of his customers, going above and beyond the call of duty. For example, I always get a glass of ice water with my coffee so I can put a few cubes in the coffee such that I can drink it immediately. I asked for a spoon and explained why. Not only did he bring me a spoon, he brought a small bowl of ice so that I didn't even need to dip into the glass of water. There's a fine line between the obsequious bootlicker of a waiter who seems to reappear every 15 seconds to inquire about your needs to those who bring the food and then show up again only when summoned for the check. He resides in that small area in the middle where those two extremes are balanced perfectly. He's nice, always smiling, and seems to care about connecting with and pleasing the customer. In other words, he's your ideal employee. You have a treasure there, don't lose him if you can avoid that disaster. After my initial pleasure in dealing with Peter, I will continue to ask to be seated in his area every time. If he asks for a $1 raise, give him $2 so as not to lose him :"
