"Okay, so I have to warn you that this restaurant is not fancy and the indoor dining area is a bit old-fashioned. It gives off a nostalgic vibe, almost like a hidden gem. It may be a hole in the wall, but I assure you it's worth overlooking the exterior. Despite being located in a small strip shopping center, the food is incredibly fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The staff are the friendliest I've encountered, always ready to accommodate any requests. They even served us hot tea after the meal, which was a nice touch. Don't be discouraged by the portion sizes in the menu pictures, as the actual servings were just right. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was definitely delicious. They offer a wide variety of vegetarian, vegan, and meat options. Personally, I haven't had such authentic Iraqi food since my visit to Vancouver years ago. Locals are lucky to have this gem in their neighborhood! We tried the lamb tikka, maqluba, and chicken sandwich, all of which were amazing."
