"I really wanted to like this restaurant, but I will definitely be skipping it in the future. I ordered four sushi rolls, miso soup, gyoza, and a tempura appetizer. Unfortunately, the tempura was hard and overcooked, and they didn’t provide any dipping sauce. The shrimp smelled off, and the sushi was stale, with the tuna tasting particularly fishy; I couldn't finish the first piece and ended up tossing it out for fear of getting sick. I also tried the employee-recommended specialty roll, and it was equally disappointing. The miso soup was thin and watered down, as if someone had diluted it with a cup of water. Overall, there was a serious lack of seasoning, and both the fish and shrimp did not taste fresh at all. It felt like they were either storing the seafood at room temperature all day or using ingredients that were a day old. It’s really disappointing for a sushi place. I genuinely wanted to enjoy my meal, but it seems this isn’t the best spot for dinner, especially near closing time on a Saturday night. To make matters worse, both my husband and I ended up with terrible stomach aches last night, and this morning has not been pleasant. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs!"
