"I found the perfect burger place, the chef's table, which sounded expensive but wasn't and has unreal amazing food with unreal desert selection and they even give a free dessert to people the first time they eat here The burger I had was better than the one at Texas Roadhouse, Calhoun's, and even Peyton's place I usually hate salad because of lettuce, but theirs has spinach instead and I didn't even wind up using my dressing it was so good I was able to get feta cheese on it and it was broken up small and perfect and all over my burger just right I meant to put ketchup but it was so good I didn't The crazy thing? 12:59 after tax I can't imagine how they got a single review under five stars, I dropped some food on the table and picked it up reflexively and ate it without thinking about it because the place was so clean I'm a big guy and I felt full in a good way when I left but not sluggish, I can tell that their ingredients are high quality and very clean"

"It's been since before covid outbreak that I've dined there. It's been a long time coming.i will say I've had experiences walking into a joint only to get attitude from staff. I kid you not, one place the server actually stated, what do you want to order? I'd like to keep the place clean. We are about to close. Has this happened to you? It's shocking customer service. Well, due to work, I walked in here about 39min prior to closing and i half expected to be shot down in some fashion. I was not disappointed when my party was welcomed and ssated and served. Never felt rushed, in fact I felt that I was more pushy to come along quicker. Ordered shared appetizers, escargot and raw oysters from Alabama! Who knew that the Gulf Coast had oysters had any seat at the table. They were decent sized and slight brine, they were terrific. Back to the review. Out server, I can't recall her name but I will update if I get it soon enough. She was knowledgeable of the menu items, the wine list, and she got on well with my dinner guests. At the end, I'm not sure what time, but it seemed most of the staff stayed. We left and were in the parking lot chatting when two guys that had nothing to do with our table from what I could tell brought out our forgotten doggie bag. The meals were off an elevated dining menu, not your average dishes to be had, low country french cuisine and prepared very well. For end of night meals, they came out as fresh as if we were first arrivals early in the night. As for atmosphere, the remaining staff put off good vibes, it was like the team were family, just good vibes. Service great, .meals great, and atmosphere perfect. I highly recommend the Brasserie. Do yourself a fsvor or someone else and introduce them to this gem of a restaurant. Knoxville is lucky to have it. Dietary restrictions: The chef, based on quality of food, I'm quite certain, has studied and trained well enough to modify for any particulars. Parking: It's a well ma cured strip mall. Parking could be a problem on certain nights but should. E a short wait for a spot Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is very welcoming. I walked in wearing a tshirr and jeans and felt very comfortable. I'm pretty sure kids would enjoy the experience."

"Tried this for the first time and it was just ok. Their chicken honestly seemed like boiled plain chicken breast that I make for my dog. The flavor in the panang curry was good but was pretty diluted. Maybe other things on the menu are better, and maybe chicken was a mistake. Worth a retry of a noodle dish one day."

"To further confirm the almost perfect rating of Potchke is a pretty easy task. The shop looks cool and has really good bagels and coffee. If you get tired of the usual brunchie food this is a good place to stop by and get a good bagel. I got the Lox Bailey with a latte, the sandwich was perfect and the coffee was very good with no extra sugar."

"The OG KFC was less seasoned than your normal KFC sandwich for 3x the price. It was in the same ballpark as Korean food but nowhere near anything authentic or even Korean-American. Overpowering hot sauce with no flavor or real heat and a few fermented veg is not seoulful at all. Only saving grace was the chicken being fried well."

"The best chicken Parmesan sub I've had in TN and one of the best I've ever had. Large enough to split into two meals. "I'm so glad there's a nice bodega-style spot in Old City! The staff are so nice and personable. "The employees stole the show on this experience. Everyone was wonderful and very helpful. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a coleslaw and a chocolate chip cookie. The pulled pork sandwich was nice and large just lacking enough seasoning. The coleslaw was fine. The cookie was dry and hard and crumbly. I probably won't go back because it's out of my way. I really wanted to try it because I had seen the reviews. However, it was just any old barbecue. In my opinion, in order to keep business going there needs to be something special. The pho base seems to have a little msg to punch up the recipe (after living in Jaapn for years, my tongue can tell), but otherwise, it is very rich and tasty. "I 've been to Altruda 's numerous times over the years, and it was always enjoyable. The food and ambience kept us coming back to support a local business. It was where we went to celebrate anniversaries, new jobs, our first home, etc. We recommended it to friends and family. The past two or three times, however, have been so far removed from what it used to be that I 'm saddened. I wish I were exaggerating when I said that the sauce in my lasagna tasted so strongly of canned Chef Boyardee that I couldn 't finish it. The ground meat in it was flavorless and mush-like, the cheese also was flavorless. The rolls were so hard and stale that we had to soak them in the garlic butter to make them edible. The salad was soggy. If I 'm going to spend over $100 on dinner for two, then I 'll go somewhere with more flavorful, less canned italian fare. And for that price, I would also hope to not see cheap, torn plastic table covers and dirty carpet. Also, I would hope that an owner would read this and instead of getting defensive, maybe try being introspective and looking back on where corners have been cut and rethink those choices. This isn 't an attack on the establishment, it 's disappointment in going out to celebrate and getting subpar food. Sidenote: Our server was excellent, no complaints there!"

"Update: I typically don’t respond to generated responses but let me be clear. My experience was my experience. You responding as though this is not what happens is not cool. I only write reviews when the experience is really great or really poor. And my experience was poor. I had a direct view of the back door and trust me, no one was coming in and out with items other than their phones. They also did not wash their hands unless there is a sink outside . The staff may of followed protocol while being inspected but not last week. As for the 27 min from order to table, I won’t dispute that. What I will say is I waited an extremely long time before I was asked to place an order. I did not eat a portion of the steak. I actually bit into it and spit out the raw fat. The steak was more like 60% fat. I know what a quality ribeye is like and that was not quality. Not to mention the fact that it wasn’t even cooked as ordered. I appreciate you taking the meal off the bill considering I did not eat. I did leave there and head to Conner’s. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews until after my visit and I would suggest you read them too, as manager/owner, as my experience is consistent with others. Instead of being defensive which I get, maybe dig into the issues. The service set the tone for a bad experience but the food was just as bad if not worse. It was not busy at all but our server would only come to the table about every 25 min which sucked because my drink was horrible which is odd considering they market specialty cocktails. My steak had absolutely no taste and 90% of it was raw fat. They did offer to make me something else but I passed considering it took almost an hour to receive our food (only two of us). The slow service may be contributed to multiple staff leaving out the back door. It was a turn off seeing them go in and out the door and then directly to the kitchen or directly to the table to wait on someone without washing their hands. The Health Department would have a field day of citations here. I am now headed to Conners. Fire and Smoke. I was hoping for a better experience. The pictures and such online do not match the actual experience."
