"I asked you young woman working at my hotel for a dinner recommendation, and she recommended this place. I arrived, and there was an event going on outside with the street closed, and a live band with lots of people. Not wanting to party, I decided to goinside. It wasn?t super busy with maybe half of the tables full. A young woman carrying a bundle of wrapped silverware seatedme, but before I sat down I saw that the table hadn?t been wiped off, so I asked someone to do that. Even after it was wipedoff, it wasn?t in the best condition. The finish was coming off, and the surface was still a little sticky. I found theatmosphere to be loud, but I suppose it wasn?t inappropriate for an Irish pub. My server came by and told me that he would beback after he took care of the large table that was nearby, and then if you want. It seemed a long time till he came back, but Ithink he may have been the only person serving tables. There was another young man milling around, but I think he was the busboy. I found the menu a little pricey. What isn?t these days? The local perch dinner was $33, but it looks like the best optionon the menu. It was served with their homemade potato chips and coleslaw, but I traded out the chips for tater tots. I can?t sayI was super impressed. The fish still had the skin on, and it was kind of tough along edges, and everything seemed greasy. Thetater tots were the frozen variety, and nothing to write home about. I?ve had far better better perch before. I was hungry andtired, so I ate it. By the time my server made it back to me I was ready for my check. I don?t think I would go back herepersonally, but I wouldn?t say the place was terrible."

"View was great, our server was great.... unfortunately that was it. The bugs flying around your face and food ruined the evening. A couple fans around would keep the bugs away from guest but not a one to be found to help. We had so so ribs (meatwas to dry) and the rib eye was the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. Guess we have gone with fish meals instead."

"I stopped by while on vacation with my friends from college, one of them hyped this place up a lot and i was not disappointed! the seafood is made fresh and not to mention you can watch them bread the fish while you’re waiting in line! also, the prices are very cheap for the quality of food that you’re getting, it’s amazing!"

"Had one of the best Cubans I ever had here. Hand cut frits with a fantastic ranch really threw it off. My father has the daily special, the Kimchi Burger. He said it was really good and the waitress told us that the pig bell on the burger was smoked in the night before. We will try again on future trips for this place to get more from this menu! Our waitress, Stacie H was also great."

"I live in Columbus. We do pretty well here for good Italian dining so I don't go to Port Clinton for good Italian. My mistake!! This is top notch. I just have to decide if it's worth a 5 hour round trip to eat there. Hmmm, maybe but it's a cinch I am eating there when I am up that way. My last 3 visits: 1). Eggplant parmigiana (my go to test dish) excellent 2). Mushroom ravioli almost ambrosia 3). Chicken piccata (one of my favorite Italian dishes) best ever. Every bite of chicken was crispy and the sauce was creamy, lemony, salty perfect! When you can make spaghetti and meatballs special, clearly you can make any dish special. My wife has sampled the menu, loved it all, yet keeps coming back to spaghetti and meatballs. This place stands right in with the best and the staff is super well trained. Highly recommended."
