"spontaneously after a Chinese restaurant in röthenbach a.d.Pegnitz we landed in the happy star. immediately after entering the restaurant the first negative impressions have obviously not seen fresh water for a long time. further it went to the table. operation very friendly, atmosphere resembles a kantine, very pity, they could more drauß. after ordering drinks it went to all in the buffet. on the way there we almost lost the shoes, unbelievably like the floor standing. there was obviously no proper cleaning with fat. unavoidable, standing through the grill in the room, which is first good. but they can go here from time to time with a fat cleaner. selection on 15,80 euro expensive everything in the buffet was okay. quality a little easy, the finished dishes very fat that has moved us to grab the raw food and let them cook through the cook. eating came very fast and again the service was very friendly. tastefully it was really good. Conclusion: eating was absolutely nothing for us for the price limit, atmosphere, but we will not go again."

"we were with a big group, and made a reservation. we had to wait a bit for a table. but during the wait we were served an aperitif which we enjoyed. as a big group, the waiter recommended a home combined start, with all sorts...of hot and cold dishes. it was absolutely fabulous. as main I had the bavette chef: pasta with cream sauce, prepared in this big Parmesan cheese. it was nice but a bit heavy; too much cream. we had a nice group diner, with good wine. it was a nice evening"

"We went there after a bike trip from Nuremberg and I literally had the best burger (Früchtchen was it) of my life. The location is great, right in the old town and they have a nice, sunny terrace to enjoy a warm summer day. Inside...the restaurant looked also very stylish with extraordinary decorations. The waitress was pretty friendly, giving recommendations on their menu. That was a hard decision which place to choose to eat and I guess it was the best one we could have made. The only thing I was just a bit disappointed was the artificial-tasting mint syrup in homemade lemonade (ginger-mint-lemon one). It would be better if they used fresh mint leaves. All in all, while thinking of it, I would even travel all the way to Lauf just to eat there again!"

"We went there to order a take away pizza and picked it up at the restaurant for a large family meal (delivery service is also available). The service was impeccable (we were offered some free drinks whilst waiting) and extremely friendly. The pizza was very good and our kids loved them. In particular the rocket pizza was great! Highly recommended!"

"After a small hike on the nearby dune path, I was spontaneously for the first time in Il Castello with my wife last Sunday. Friendly staff and really great! Kitchen, as you usually do not expect in a club home. Only the waiting time has gone a bit long, but we had time to bring this was not a major problem."
