"I am shocked at the high reviews on this place. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and I’ve eaten lots of barbecue and this is the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered a 3 meat plate with moist brisket, ribs sausage and pinto beans and hatch mac cheese as our sides. The brisket was the furthest thing from moist. It had the texture of beef jerky and I guess the big chunk of fat on it was supposed to qualify it as moist? Huge missed mark on this. The ribs were decent, nothing special but the most edible thing on the plate. The sausage was horrible. It had zero smokiness and tasted like boiled hot dogs. We wanted creamy corn casserole and sweet garlic green beans. They were out of both. We ended up...

Had a lovely time at Agape after hiking in the Longhorn Caverns. We had the brisket and sausage and both were incredible, and the atmosphere was both friendly and inviting. Such a lovely backyard area, would love to be back for live music or other events.

Jeremy gave us the grand tour and I must say hands down best BBQ I have had in a very long time. Moist, delicious prime beef makes for an amazing meal, the turkey was exquisite, and the sauce is something special. All the sides are gastritis level good. I will be back with lots of friends and family, and I will be saving some gas money since I don’t have to drive down into Austin for the magic meats I love! Can’t wait to enjoy the live music soon!

We’ve been here twice now and both times the BBQ was really tasty. Their moist brisket is the best., in my opinion. They have several sides to choose from and a few different types of cobbler too.There is plenty of seating out back under huge oak trees. If you’d like to sit closer to the stage you can bring your own chairs. On Friday and Saturday nights they have live music. We liked that the band started earlier at 6:30pm and played until 9:30pm. This band is a Journey cover band.And they just added an axe throwing area. We’ll be back to try our hand at that!Kid-friendliness: They have a little sand pit to keep the kids occupied and the backyard is fenced in so they can’t go wandering off.
