"Food is extremely over salted, the wait staff is only helpful if you are of the younger generation, and they assume that you'll be able to give them a larger tip. Oops, I'm 61 and not dressed in the more trendy clothes, I sat at the bar stools area and waited and waited and waited....... The place was some what busy but a regular afternoon type of day. Finally after 13 minutes I spoke up a bit a finally got the girls attention, I ordered a simple mixed drink and a appetizer plate, the drink took about 5 mins. And the food took another 20 mins. By then I really needed another drink. I did even leave a very generous tip. But I will not be going there again. Thank you for listening to me......"

"Along with many classic breakfast choices the Sunday brunch at the East Side used to offer a tantalizing array of tasty fresh fruits, salads, vegetables, roasted meats and casserole dishes that were an epicurean 's delight to partake. In fact, best in the area would have been an accurate and appropriate description for their brunch. But that was THEN, before covid panic suspended everyone 's brunch plans. NOW post covid, brunch at the East Side has resumed on a limited first Sunday of each month ONLY basis! But aside from that good news there is little to cheer about the restaurant 's brunch offerings . GONE...are the varieties of food choices and tastes that were actually worth the price of admission. Classic breakfast choices are limited to powdered scrambled eggs, cold homefries, and cold waffles or pancakes with greasy bacon, or sausage. The brunch casserole offerings are multiple variations of the same dish .. creamed or cheesy potatoes w/wo spice, over spiced tomatoes in a heavy cheesy sauce, over baked string beans in heavy mushroom gravy, BBQ meatballs from Shaws, with a sometimes choice between fatty corn beef brisket or thick sliced ham. Regarding fresh fruits, vegetables, and freshly prepared desserts, make sure you get there first! Sorry to say it, but ..things these day Buddy ...ain 't what they used to be"

"Our waitress and wait staff was excellent, she served 8 of us. open Kichen concept. I watched the chef and helper, both were on the ball. The food was fresh, hot and excellent. We drove all the way from Stowe VT, second time visiting. I would recommend."

"I ordered the maple bourbon burger(9)and my husband got the grilled chipotle chicken sandwich(7). We also ordered the duck wontons(6) and the mozzarella sticks(8.5) overall the service was great and fast! The waitress was very friendly and worked fast paced. She didn't even need to write the order down she just took it, remembered it and everything. The room is laid back, there's a bar people are sitting at, and high tables to eat at. The seats are nice. Not the biggest place for huge families but definitely recommend the place. The only thing I can say bothered me was the amount of flies that would Not leave us alone. We had 3-4 of them like not backing off, I had to cover my drink and food when not eating just to keep it from them lol def would've gave 5 stars if not for that."
