"Really enjoyed the horse decor and the vibes of this place. The food is honestly normal for the price that you pay for it. I’d rather eat at Jean Georges across the street. The menu is French, Mexican, Korean fusion, which was creative. We ordered the chimichurri steak and it was tough. It also wasn’t a chimichurri sauce. It was just parsley with some oil. The duck shakshuka comes with one egg and one sausage and there were too many chunks of things in the sauce for my liking. I did enjoy the escargot though. Also, I didn’t really get how the mussels were $23 but the moules frites were $38 lol. If you add fries it’s $15 extra? Also our server looked visibly stressed when she took our order....

A favorite spot to celebrate special occasion or to stop in for a drink after a long day. All these years, Almond still has it and it’s better than ever.

"Almond is always a fan favorite. We started with the Mezzo for 2. It was outstanding and presented so beautifully. It actually can feed 4 easily. I then continued on with the pork chop which was also quite tasty. Our friends enjoyed the Lamb special and Fluke. Nobody was disappointed."

"Really rude staff and bad service. Waited much longer than the estimated time and then the hostess gave us a hard time for requesting a different table. Food is fine but overpriced. “Little kitchen” is an overstatement, the place is cramped inside. After I paid the bill I asked for a club soda. They waited until I opened it to let me know it would be $5 and then argued with me about it. No sense of customer service, especially considering the high price. If you are going to go here, order to go. But honestly much better places to go in the area."

"Topping Rose was... fine. We went for dinner drinks in the evening and the first round was underwhelming (vodka soda riff with sparkling water sugar lemon and a bee something. The ambiance is slightly outdated and there's a lot of employees crossing with guests due to the layout but it has a somewhat charming outdated family dining room feel to it. The outside is nicer. Someone's elderly grandparent made a reservation on our behalf and miscounted the party, and one of the hosts (who may have been training? Since there were 2 was extremely rude about it over the course of the hour we waited for a table the rudest experience from a server I've ever seen to the point we left. The other host was much more helpful in helping us set up a new reservation. We went back a couple days later for brunch instead. Drinks were better, but the espresso martini could use a dairy liqueur. The food was good, but not great calamari and truffle pizza, lobster roll, and salmon were all fine. The lobster roll being on a potato bun was new and a little odd. Our servers were helpful and staff all around was much more pleasant. Overall everything was fine but nothing special. Would be unlikely to return when you mix the quality with the initial bad taste from the host."
