"As you enter this little restaurant, you are welcomed by the staff and the Chef who is very nice and always between tables and kitchen, giving advices to customers and also cooking hard to imagine that.. i know, but believe me is true! It s nothing luxury or modern, just simple, clean and what is very important the service is very fast...comparing with other restaurants full of style where you have to wait 30 min untill they get your order. You have to pay attention, cuz you need to make a reservation +41 91 862 12 63 , is always full table. The most interesting part of this restaurant is that they don t have a menu cart, a part selvaggina when there is a menu with 10 delicious plates. So..you have to trust the Chef and just tell him what would you like to eat, and believe me he will surprise your gastronomic senses. The meat is very well cooked combinated with a lot of original flavors sweet and sour pork, gorgonzola beef, creamy roast deer . Also for those who like fish or sea food, this restaurant offers a variety of tastefull experience. I love that all the products are fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home made food. Best quality ingredients! Also the wine was delicious, thanks to the propose of the chef, who is also a experienced sommelier. The restaurant also caters for all tastes by providing a large selection of the best wines of the region, and not only... Some wines are pricy but are worth trying. The desserts are awesome, simple but delicious and the nice part is that after the dinner you can visit the beautiful cellar, or the cantina . When i say that this restaurant is a 5 star one, i mean saying that the service has a high quality, like the cooking, and when this 2 things combine, for me this a supreme satisfaction. From january 2016 the chef recommended the chinoise dinner and other great stuff i can hardly wait to try..Is good when you are a stranger around these parts and you find a great restaurant like Osteria del Ponte, where you can feel like home...i am serious thinking to do my wedding here, cuz this restaurant provides also service cooking to big events ; see you soon Chef Mauro and wish you a 2016 full of creativity and awesome gastronomic ideas!"
